Thanks man, i thought so.. the question now is if 2e trannys have the same ratio as 4efte tranny?

If they are, then its not worth it to change it.

2e box wont fit with 4efe engine.
yes a 4efte box will fit 4efe but 4efe box has shorter ratio than 4efte box, so loss in acceleration

if you can get ahold of corolla 6 speed box from the e11 corolla (1.3) then thats best one to get.. shortest ratio which means awesome acceleration, plus 6th gear will help gas consumption

I dunno Ishaq the shop was able to use my 2e tranny in my 4efe. it's running okay but of course ratio's kinda short, thats why i'm kinda wondering if 4efte tranny would fit. and yeah 6 speed would definitely help with gas consumption.. Good luck to me finding it. haha

used the same flywheel from 2e i believe..
