| So it is still snowing.... And i cant find my front axles to make the blue turd 4wd again, I know i had two pairs somewhere but now i cant find them. I want to make another video drifting 4wd in the snow and get some friend of mine to follow me with camera. And i forgot to close the back window over night and the back seat is probably full of snow now...jeij fun. ( woke up 4am to have a sip of water and took the picture) And another thing popped into my head that night i might need a poll for that new idea, already tossed the idea between two of my friends and they went crazy over it... What if i were to swap/build my newly acquired ae111 facelift corolla to 4wd V6? Any takers? | |

Any takers? Do the V6, I'm keen to know if a 1MZ or 2GR will fit in a 10x/11x engine bay without modifying the firewall.

| Thanks Hiro. This might end as a v6 swap after all. Every day is shuffle-ing I messured 53cm of snow over one night. Finally at shcool three hours later Then went to the best tireshop in town to swap those bald fronts, Met my friend there Then back home. Really hard to drive a rwd car with open diff in so much snow but i want to clock some km on this engine befor turbo | |

| If it fits and a gearbox/driveshaft solution isn't ridiculous then I'm almost certainly going to head down that path myself (FWD though), I'd discounted V6s when umming and ahhing about my engine options over the last few years but it'd suit me to a T, plus would be different from the normal 7AGE/3SGTE crowd. | |

Don't hold your breath, it's probably a year or two away from even being considered.

| Tanks Hiro and miib14 Hiro, The 1mz fits the enginebay. I do not have a picture of it but i testfitted the 1mz with half of the e250 4wd gearbox bolted to it. It was snug and almoast touching the firewall and the only engine mount i had to fabricate from scratch was the one on the engine the other three all where bolted to the gearbox. I just jacket under the oilpan to level it out in there and took some messurements with my hands and my eyes like the exhaust would be the hardest part of all. but that i would put in a hands of a exhaust shop so my hardest part would had been the electric harness. I have not been posting for the last three weeks, just been swamped at shcool taking mid tests and just been driving the blue turd alot almoast everyday now. The only bad thing that has happent so far is that the idle went from 900 - 3000rpm from time to time and just yesterday i found out why, it is a faulty Tps sensor, and one other minor thing is that i think my water (forgot the name) locker is stuck open so the engine only warms up to 50 -60°c. It drives good and couple of times i have hit 6000rpm's in 1gear but i need to adjust the camgears more i can feel the lack of horsepower taking from the feel i drove the first two 7age's. Im feeling i skip the turbo for a while and use the corolla for some time now and start focusing on the next one we sex | |

Was it the inlet manifold almost touching the firewall? I'd be probably looking at ITBs or a custom intake manifold (mate is putting one in his TA22 and it has a custom intake which saves heaps of room) which would improve clearance no end, also likely to use an S-series box (like the MR2 guys) to cut down on weight and bulk compared to the E153 that would come from the Camry. Although one thing I'm thinking might be an issue is clearance to the brake and clutch master cylinders, since I'm RHD... (obviously would have it facing the other way so the throttle went over the gearbox in FWD config)

| Yes it was the intake that almoast hit the firewall. If i remember correctly i think somethin on the firewall was in the way of it like the firewall in a camry v6 has the 3vzfe there is a pushed inward of the firewall where in the corolla same spot a pushed outward metal that just does nothing...
I will hopefully in Mars or begin of April testfit the v6 again in the ae111 facelift but might start the rear drivetrain swap first because thats the easyest part and i need the space in my parts garage where all of the 4wd equipment is along with the gearbox and engine. It is taking a space as big as a car almoast.

| Is this love? I don't think so https://youtu.be/xUw5A8-_gJQ This is endless Just bolted the 15" under and took a short drive then alternator gave up On a side note i went to my storage garage to check on the 4wd equipment for the ae111 facelift. 3vz-fe flywheel and clutch Actually e57 gearbox but e250 is under a load of toyota crap behind me. And under the stuff on the right there is the 1mz-fe v6 Then befor i towed the ae111 facelift home i took pictures under it It is actually a little rusty. More then i thought but its nothing to cry over Now im just waiting for my head to gain interest in starting the swap. Im thinking about doing a youtube channel for the v6 ae111 build just for fun. It will take me more time to do the build but it could end up as a fun and cool project for more then just me. | |

| Went to a shop with the alternator and the charge for the estimated repair was same to as just to buy a new alternator so i did. Bolted it in and went to shcool but going back home i started notice some sort of nocking sound coming from the head. The next day no nockong sound on my way to shcool but then going back home it started again and now even more sound then the day befor... I tried adjusting the timing numerus times over the night last saturday with no luck but i gained more power out of the adjustment. So i thought could this be bad oil cus the first 500km after rebuild you are supoust to change the oil becaus it gets filled with small metal parts from the cylenders pistonring honing and some fuel going between... so i changed it and went with 5w30. There were some metal dust noticable in the oil and it was black like i had been driving for a year with out changing. After the oil change the sound almoast goes away can only hear it when reving high and changing gears fast i hear the cam lopes hit the shims for a sec. I have desited to buy a new 16v crank gear and have 7age timing cut into it. I think my problem is that i cant time those adjustable cam gears with out propper tools wich i dont have and when i was adjusting them on saturday night i was sure the exhaust cam gear had moved two degrees so they are not safe in my books. Then just a little garage update. I finally got my old toolbox back from my fathers garage. I had it there in storage behind so much junk that i never bothered to go pick it up.. And the other day was my birthday and i got this retrackedable air hose from my family. Now i dont have to fight with air hose everytime i need to use it. Hope you enjoy | |

| So, same time last year was the first opening day at the racetrack and on that day two hours befor the track opened i was driving to inspection to get license to drive it and on my way over there i played to much at around aboud and rosted a pistonring so the first 7age was dead, then about 6months later finally stop hating the car i collected parts to make another 7age and that lasted only three hours with a busted rod bearing.... Then about 4months after that i built a new one with new stuff as you know and now been running for 1700km babying the throttle only hitting 5000rpm once or twice, OK maby couple more times then that but you know still taking it rather easy... But low and behold, this is my third 7age in one year, ONE YEAR!! https://youtu.be/wqKJ7sO6_F4 And to day is the first opening day of the track (last friday) this year about 400 people showed up did not count the cars that went to the track but they where the most that ever showed up at the track from the begining of this event... I desited to hell with it and went to get my car ready, biked over to my parts garage where i keep the corolla and drove it home. At home doing new brake lines and pumps in the back Going over lights Then going to the inspection Then back home swapping to welded diff Then prepped my home made towing package on it and headed out to the track At the track... i did 4 laps and it was a blast, but in lap 4 i tore a bushing in the rear by the right wheel and had to stop but luckly the motor made 4 amazing laps and im so happy now. But i can feel it's so under power for drifting i need about 200hp for this track or more. I was giving it hell flooring the car befor a corner and throwing it into the turn but lack of horse power made it lame. Then i towed it home again and when i started the engine to move it infront of the garage door the oil catch can did not go away so im tossing the 7age for good, im doing the v6 swap to this blue turd instead of the facelift Hope you like. This has been super fun year i can tell you that | |

Make sure to write a DIY, document every process Yea, about that.... I quit these Toyota´s finally, I just got fed up with them always braking down from my last post I have gone trough 5x 7age engines, FUCKING 5 ENGINE´S. how about that. I made the turbo engine with smallport rods (24mm) and bigport pistons, metal headgasket and T3 turbo from a diesel Pajero ´98, no intercooler, 330cc injectors from supra. it lasted couple of days in my use so i got so mad and fed up and i put everything on sale and sold the car and 2 engines in a day. New project going on 6months now...And will be the "new" corolla to be poster here! im going v6 with my T50 rwd gearbox from an ae86 corolla, 10bolt camaro rear axle, and two seats and a tube frame corolla coming togeather real slowly (will post pictures later only spot welded the base frame), this is my home built racecar sort of like a "7" build or something similar. Im using a corolla for parts, petals, brake booster, front hubs and brakes, gauges, and a heap more stuff, I will keep you guys posted on that this has been my dream of building my own car like a Lego´s! Similar set up " /> When I sold the Corolla´s I bought a 3gen v6 Pontiac Trans Am to use at the track, Im restoring a v8 to use it next summer for drift, time attack, quarter mile, im making it manual with a T5 World Class gearbox from a jeep, ls1 bellhousing mated, so far all of this has taken me about an hour to bolt togeather so i know now the stupid time it took me to build the "blue" 4years!!! (dont look back) " /> " /> " /> Hope you enjoy or will enjoy, you might hate me for selling the "blue" but enough was enough.

That could be arranged! If you really want it?? I got like x3 in storage.. and an extra parts car ae95 4x4 1988 Wow, time flies when your buzy, I´ve been totally off the end of the earth the last year or so, School has had me kicking the curb over and over, Im battleing trying to finish this damn school only 3 degrees left to take, the last two semesters I almost fell out of school cus I had another child, baby boy that was born sick and has had me and the wife looking after him much more then a normal child needs, constant care, but now almost a year later (12.June) he is going strong and finally stopped vomiting everything he ate. As for the v6 1mzfe engine and all the heavy v8 pontiac body/engine swaps I had planed to do went out the window when my kid was born, I sold everything I had in the making cus I did not have the time for it. In the last year or so I have had about 80 cars Buying and fixing and selling cars became my work, I did that between classes at school, when I had a loose time at home or even in the middle of the night, I was swapping engines in the middle of the street somewhere out of nowhere cus I got the car for free or clutch swap or head gasget in the middle of the snowy winter all so I did not have to quit school and go work again, It was actually pretty nice, the monney was good and today Im still jumping on parket cars I see standing for along time or has the numbers impounted. You could say it´s free money to me, I can fix about anything I see... But stop the vaaambulance, here is the latest update on my new project, a Corolla frame build So its not a tube frame like I planed but hey, It´s here and it is going to be fun to drive. It is a Super 7 frame or Catherham or a base frame same as Donkervoort which is based on Catherham I bought my trusty L200 almost a year ago, this time it is my 3rd time I have had it, LOL, now swapped with a 2.5l Turbo diesel engine and rwd 5speed gearbox and limited diff. The time I picked up the frame So in the frame already is: Corolla Twincam AE86 brake master and clutch cylinder and a steering tube. As in front it has Twincam AE86 hubs and brakes and steeringmekanism. Inside the frame it has AE86 4age motor mounts and gearbox mount, My over all plan the next months is to make it run, I have everything I need to do that, Ive had my AE86 rwd Twincam 4age engine and gearbox for along time now and finally its going into something cool.. But I need some more stuff like a rear axle with suspension and some electric stuff like harness inside and outside with fusebox and lights and that stuff so went out of town to a nearby farm to pick up a parts 4x4 corolla to use Then if it ever finishes I want to make or buy a fiberglass body to put over it and these two I love the most Devin 1960 and a Cobra 289 dont know the year Of course I plan on building a 4age turbo engine, I think im staying away from the 7age for now, you might think why CT12a Garret turbo charger from a 2jzgtte engine sitting ontop of a 7age built engine Evo front mount intercooler, been in storage for 10years shit it is about time some of my stuff comes out of the closet and goes to beeing used lol And of course I never stop driving superbikes, always love to go out on my own every now and then Honda CBR 600 1989 Cafe Racer, bought and sold already and another Honda CBR 600 in the making to be Cafe Racer which I just bought yesterday It´s good to be back
