| well guys im just letting you guys know im doing the swap now. 2 weeks ago engine was making knocking nosies and crapped out and stalled so many times that i knew engine swap is gonna happen. so had it towed to my friends house, taking the old one out, swapping coolant hoses and engine mounts (which i will discuss later). i did some risk taking and got myself an $250 engine harness that was 95% good from a 4age ST. and right now im playing with it and so far its pretty much plug n play. i also belive the RF axle does fit directly to the my corolla (so crossing fingers!!) and i just ordered an 7afe transmount. hopefully i will get it done next week! i will provide some pics later on but right now, the struggle is real....

| alright with this long long long build im finally able to show you guys some pics. i was able to get the half shaft bracket and halfshaft and axle and went in smoothly, everything fits, i did run the OEM 4age ST harness i got but found out i was missing some plugs so it wouldnt work, so i got In with Dr. Tweak, sended them my old 7AFE harness and a few weeks later got my new harness in fitted everything in for the swap. as for engine mounts and trans mounts everything almost fitted. except for the auto tragic's transmission mount and the rear engine mount bracket, but thanks to the people here i got the 7a's transmount from my local dealers and fits directly to the silvertops transmission. and as for the rear engine mount bracket i had to do a little modding to make it actually fit on the engine. then there was an a little issue with the AFM. when i ordered the AFM i expected it would come with the appropriate gasket, nuts and adapter, but sadly it just came with the AFM. so i made my own AFM adapter plate. went to a local hardware store auto parts store and another trip to the dealers to pickup the AFM gasket and bolts. got the stuff i need to make it. i only made 2 of them one was just a prototype of what was gonna be the final product. so i went to work on them, while in the build process i realized that toyota uses the same gasket, nuts, and bolts off there AE86 4AGE's. so after the the protype when done being built i went and started making the final product, i ended up using some of the 2.5in aluminum piping off the old CAI and JB welding it a steel plate which later on worked perfect. currently my car is not running yet, im still running into issues. so far im in need of a 5th gen Celica throttle/accelerator cable(89-93), i gotta swap out the brake pedal with the one i got from the junk yard, figure out vacuum lines and fuel return lines, i gotta check the fuel pump (since it was out in the open for the past couple of months), find the signal wire so i can splice into the ECU (yes i know i said i might be splice it some where else but i have a friend that will help me on this on this part since he was originally a Toyota tech), swapping out the old seats with the new ones, make a harness bar, putting the whole interior back, weld a new front exhaust system, straight pipe the exhaust... well thats what i can remember for now but i think im missing 1 or 2 more things that belong in this pile of stuff i have to do but soon it'll be running! i cant wait for this build!!! stay tuned my friends, pictures are on the way.... probably alot..... | |

| im still not done yet.....i still need the 2-1 extractor exhaust pipe, straight pipe from the cat back, harness bar, passenger seat should be replaced soon, inner and outter tie rod ends needs to be replaced and an alignment and maybe during the whole changing the tie rods i might aswell make the steering rack ACTUAL manual steering....... then alot of body work...... then down the road get AC to get it working.... | |

| It sure is loud lol (no exhaust yet obviously)
And it doesn't seem to run very smoothly, like at idle, is that something you'll work out eventually?
Hopefully you can get that bumper in shape again lol
And I assume there's just nothing left of that c/f hood? oh well

| i think its due to the fact i dont have the downpipe for the exhaust, and because of that i dont have the front 02 sensor connected thats probably the main reason why...... but if not imma work it out eventually,
the bumper is gonna get in shape again! i know it...
and yea theres barely anything left now..... RIP cf hood
