| I figured it was about time I made a build thread since everyone else has one Also because spring will be rolling around soon here and I have some things planned for the car Alright, I'm Aaron as a few of you know. And this is my 93' Toyota Corolla I purchased from my parents April 2011. When I purchased it it had around 125-130,000km, as of today 05/02/2012, it has 153,000km. It has a nice history in my family which is why I plan on keeping her for as long as she runs. Few modifications: Under the hood: NGK spark plug wires NGK iridium spark plugs Insys SRI Suspension/Wheels/Brakes,etc. Tokico Blue front struts KYB Excel G rear struts Monroe Rotors ATE Brake Pads OEM Strut bar Audio/Visual: Sony XPLOD head unit Sony XPLOD 400W RMS 10" Subwoofer Q-Power 300W RMS 10" Subwoofer 2x Pioneer 2-way 60W RMS 4" Door speakers 2x Pioneer 3-way 200W RMS 6x9" Rear Speakers 2x Pioneer 2-way 175W RMS 6x9" Rear Speakers Sony 2 channel 800W XPLOD Amp (broke) Pioneer 2 channel 350W Amp (sold) LanzarMAX 2000W Amp When I first got her: My brother had a big ass spoiler on there before :/ Dirty engine-bays make baby Jesus cry. More shots. Repainting front bumper. After I repainted the bumper and took the side decal things off, and put on some hubcaps. Valve cap painting. Got a oem strut bar. Engine bay shot! My clean trunk. New door speakers. Plasti-dipped my emblems. Body work. Shot after a car wash, completely unedited. Big ass tree. Engine bay shot! Dynamic engine bay shot! First snowfall of 2011/2012: Car accident: I was driving to a friends house, and was going around a corner that had a guard rail on the one side, and a person was coming at me from the left, and they were driving too fast and couldn't stop, so I weighed the options of trying to accelerate past and miss them and possibly slide into the guard rail, or get hit from the side, so I gunned it, and ended up barely missing getting hit by the other person who slid right through the stop sign, then as I hit the guard rail they drove away :/ While my car was waiting to get the fender fixed and sitting in the back I bought a new 2000W amp, as well as a second sub, and all new wiring and ran it. I also got 2 new speakers and installed them/rewired my rear deck. Car is back on the road. My local auto body place said they can make me spray cans for $15 each of a better matching colour for my car, so I am going to redo the paint on the rockers, as well as the paint on the front and rear bumpers as there is scuffs on both. Also on the trunk lid. Action shot! by the local Toyota. Some winter driving. Gotta have that Tim Horton's. Pics at the rink where I have spent most of my winter childhood. Bit of a recent photoshoot. Owners club Planned: I am getting the whole suspension redone soon. The rear springs were bad when I first got the car, and now I have blown the rear left strut so it's finally time for a new set up. I am thinking GR2's with Megan or Tein lowering springs as the place I am going to can get them all in pretty easily. I am looking at a Megan N1 muffler too, just to give my car a better sound, besides the old muffler is all beat up already. I am also looking at perhaps getting a lip or something for the front bumper, but we shall see.

| Thanks guys. And the rust.... yeah the rust haha. I'm hoping it'll stay away for a year or two, by then I'll hopefully have enough to get another car. Still love this little thing though And the toggle switch is for NOS. Just kidding, I wish. It's to turn the Command Start on and off in my car, so I can start it in teh winterz so she warms up and defrosts before I head to school and such. | |

| Kay so I have a predicament. I am purchasing these rims from a guy for $250, tires are 85ish % tread left, which is an insanely good deal I think seeing as how he just wants to get rid of them. Pics are below: My friend has a sand blaster as the rims need a bit of a makeover, and my local autobody shop said they could powder them for about $30 per rim. I either want to be flashy with this, or low profile. I was thinking either a powder coat of candy green, or just powder black over the rims. What do you guys think? | |

| Nice Rims dude! Good call on the 7 spoke! and I would have to agree with the white powder coat. That would look very nice among the red contrast of your car...and if you wanted, you could always paint your calipers Gold to really set it off! Good Luck on what ever you do. | |

| Just wondering if you had to pay for any additional customs charges to have the decals shipped to canada? ...I got hit with an extra $40.85 customs charge when I ordered my Magnaflow CC from Salt Lake City in the states...Its weird, sometimes they charge, and sometimes they dont. | |

| I didn't when I ordered through the guy on these forums, no. I don't usually get charged (for auto parts) unless I use autopartsway and sometimes rockauto. | |

| Is it that obvious I love the dirt hahah. But yeah no, there's so many back roads out here to rip down, and like 50% of the paved roads are littered with potholes. At least in my town :/ | |
