I was thinking Tein or Eibach springs alright. My AE111 is the car that keeps giving, found TRD engine mounts in it yesterday while trying to track down the chronic oil leak it's suffering from. Going to order 2 cam oil seals today as it looks to be coming from the exhaust cam oil seal.

Bought 4 used Cusco top mounts and got the crappy looking AE92 shocks thrown in for free. If I hadn't spotted the top adjusters I might have left them there. Stripped down the struts to find Koni adjustables. Fronts are 8641 1146 and rears are 8641 1147. Fronts fit AE101 struts perfectly and the Koni gland nut from the AE92 struts are spot on. The rears are a different set up and you must cut off the top of the strut and then drill a hole and secure the insert from underneath with a bolt. I had a pair of blown front struts but I don't have a pair of rears so I will wait until I find a set. The top mounts are going into my AE111 though.

I won't post how little I paid but it might disappoint people to find out they came out of Fensports AE92 demo car fitted with 4A-GZE and HKS twincharge kit.

Yeah someone from Ireland must have bought it a few years back and it sat up for maybe 4 years or so over some sales argument and a chap I know bought it recently to pull the running gear out of it's very rusty shell. Here's the chaps donedeal ad. He doesn't have any of the HKS twincharge kit listed but he has it complete including the F-CON and all pipework/valves etc.

Not a clue just a car someone linked to me and I saved the picture for inspiration. Have about 90Km on the engine now. It's not fun driving around a small enough business park but I want to get as much run in mileage on the engine before I go back driving the AE101 in December.

Used bumper would be expensive via air mail. Your best bet would be to find an importer that brings in containers of parts.
No real updates on this. Only about 200km done on engine since rebuild but it will be getting taxed on Dec 3rd and driven daily again.

No I'm not on TOC.
I've been driving this 8 days now and have around 950Km on the engine. I did a compression test not long after the first start and recorded between 10 BAR and 11 BAR across the cylinders. Checked again on Friday at 600 oddKM after an oil and filter change and they now read around 13 BAR give or take a few psi. My run in method has been first 600 Km: max 1/2 throttle and max 5000 rpm, since Friday the I've been full throttle up to 6000 rpm. When I hit 1200 Km I'll do another oil change and stop using Miller's CRO running in oil and just use a more normal running oil. I must say the engine is pulling well and responsive and torquey. So far so good.

Swapped on the gold Gram Lights the other day. Also might be doing a swap for a HKS silent Hi Power exhaust for the RSR cannon from my AE111 so with a bit of modding it will fit the AE101. Also I have a blacktop exhaust manifold and downpipe so I might swap them on also.

Bought Eibach lowering springs and fitted them today along with the AE92 Koni inserts and Cusco top mounts
To fit the rear Koni insert you must cut the strut to remove the OEM damper. Remember these are gas charged when you cut them, fortunately 1 of mine had no gas and the other went handy enough with a squirt of oil until the gas was released.
A comparison of the open bath OEM damper and the sealed Koni insert
The Koni is held from underneath with an M12 bolt so a hole needs to be drilled underneath Edit I reused the original Koni high tensile M12 bolt and treated it some copper grease
The top when finished looks like this, there is a rubber sleeve supplied to keep water etc. out
And the complete set ready to be fitted
I measured the ride height before and after and the front has dropped approx. 30mm but the back on 15mm so I'll wait a month or so and see how it settles.
