My gt apex levin

Hi guys
i got my hot little hands on this gt apex levin a couple of months ago so the car is pretty much stock standard but hopefully down the tracki should have it looking amazing, funds dependent lol but for now all i can do is dream.

well today after work i had some free time so i painted my strut brace to make it standowt in the engine bay a bit more and i got me some stickers for my back window. kinda got me in the mood to start painting things so im on a mission now to see what else i can paint oh and more stickers i love stickers.

Why'd you paint the strut bar white... I was thinking red, silver, or black would look nice!

they arent specficly for hondas its just that honda owners go absolutli mental over them and i picked white because i like the way it stands owt and looks clean

Nice levin bud. get some -40mm spring on her. iv just done mine and it looks sooooooo much better the way it sits after. Tidy looking gt though and very jellious of the digi dash

me too, i have a supercharged ae101 levin and would LOVE the digi dash, not even the power/manual lights for the auto would bother me haha.

was any modifications needed for the intake?

nah jus needed an air flow meter adapter for the pod filter to fit to the afm which are normaly sold in the same shop

Strangely, I really like the strut bar being white. O.o

Long time since I've updated this.
For a couple of months there my car has given me plenty of grief. Fist i bent one of my lower control arms which was no biggie, then a month after that the frst plug under the throttles gave up the ghost so i fixed then and then about a week after that my water pump just completely shat itself and to top it off they guy at supercheap auto gave me water pump for a 4a-fe which i custom fited to my engine as a temporary thing. After all this i decided that it was time for a rebuild which i am currently part way through. I managed to pick up this incomplete cylinder head for $12.50 so thought this would be a great place to start.


So far I've installed new valve stem seals and have the valves and valve springs installed. I've also had the valve cover painted which is a massive improvement on what it used to look like


And I've got myself a thinner trd head gasket


And found me a set of tow hooks which I've always wanted so while your reading this i will be installing them on my car

also thinner HG means you are trying to raise the compression right?

Yup u got it. Should bring my compression ratio to around the same as a blacktop. Cant remember off the top of my head the exact ratio

nice .. is it 11:1 on a blacktop?
