Nice car man, but in my opinion bolt the license plate on the middle of bumper grill.

Thank you so much! You can still get those from online sellers or visit a wreck yard... Even after importing my tweeters and pods, I recently found a wrecked BZ touring at a yard that had the pods and tweeters. So you might just be lucky too.

Actually I decided to place the plates on the side intentionally to allow maximum air flow at speeds..This will help in the cooling as compared to when the plate is obstructing air flow at the middle. But I know it would be nice too to have then at the middle.

I wish...we weren't blessed with the BZ touring models in the USA.

but yes, I've have found a couple members here sell them. Just waiting for them to become available for purchase.

Nice! They are so rare so when you get a set don't hesitate to buy them. You will love the sound of them on your car.

My latest Additions
1. OEM AE101 BZ Touring Sun visors (Passenger side has a mirror)- Loved it!




2. OEM AE101 Tweeters and tweeter pods Installed



3. I also added an illuminated Fog light switch which allows me to turn ON the parking lights only without turning ON the fog lights. If I want the fog lights ON, I just turn ON put parking lights switch and then press this switch.



4. I also installed the Lexus IS300 Sports OEM Dead pedal/ Foot rest... I had earlier swapped the other three pedals but I intentionally left the footrest pedal out because it was too big and requires moving the mounting nails on the floor to about 10cm apart.. The stock ones were 6cm apart

I finished installing the OEM key ring light and the footwell lights. I love the look especially at night when it really lights up beautifully.




I then took the car to the local upholstery center and had the shift boot done in 100% leather and the gear knob wrapped in leather too. The results were amazing.





Finally my package containing some more OEM optional Extras arrived from Pakistan.

OEM Armrest extender
OEM Multibox

Finally I finished installing the armrest extender after cleaning it with a fabric cleaner. Its amazing how such a small add-on transforms the car completely. Now i have a rear passenger cup holder and a front extra pocket and best of all an armrest. The feeling is awesome.

Very impressive Mr GB Kei!.. I too reside in Nairobi, and im hoping to seriously modify my Ae101 within the next two months or so. We should meet up some time and exchange ideas.

Thanks for the warm welcome GB Kei. Having a local ae101ownersclub sounds like an exciting prospect. Im not really sure which year my car is, but its been in our family since the 90's. Ill have to scour though its log book to find out its year of manufacture. Im hoping to fit it with a extreme dimensions duraflex drifter body kit as well as a nathan airchime train horn. You're thread has inspired me to start my own and hopefully inspire people out there, the same way you've inspired and enlightened me with yours.

Another Addition:
An Utra Racing Toyota Corolla Ae101 REAR strut brace.

Very nice upgrades, never seen a lock like that for the shifter, that's a unique feature

Today I receive these SAFEBRAKE braided brake lines for AE101/AE111 with rear discs. These are made by a company in Australia called Safebrake and are a direct replacement for the factory rubber brake lines so no modification is required. Its a totally worthy upgrade from the old rubber stock brake lines.

I been looking at those same brake lines. Eventually I will get those for mine, but first, I want to upgrade the rear to disc brakes.
