Recently I got this OEM ae101 rear parcel shelf board fitted with OEM speaker grilles to accommodate 6x9 speakers.
Since the board was slightly damaged during transportation I decided to repair it by glueing on a very thin strong and flexible cutout board matching the shape of the OEM board

I thought of trying out these 16"x 7 OZ racing rims fitted with 205/45 R16 tyres but the hub studs were too short for the rims and the tyre was rubbing on the shock absorber. They did look good but too bad i couldn't use them.

Also found a new backbox. I'm really hoping the sound of this will put a huge smile on my face once i get it installed.

Car looks great man. Not over the top but not too stock. Just right.
Post a video of the new greddy muffler when it's installed!
Are you running a resonator too?

Thank you so much kennydang91. I will definitely upload a video once the backbox is installed. I am really looking forward to hearing its sound for the first time too. Yes i have one mid resonator but if this backbox sounds too loud, i may consider adding a second one.

Hi "miib14"
I'm running stiff springs on all 4 and actually it makes alot of difference in the feel of the car around corners. Combined with the front strut and both front and rear anti roll bars I can tell you yes, there is alot of difference. Initially I used to go round a local s-bend at 70kph....of late i actually did 110kph on the same and it felt like i could still go faster but i was satisfied with the response and handling. Im looking to install coilovers and that should help inprove handling even further

Recently I came across this 150 MPH clock in the local wreck yard...
I Also came across another 240KM/H clock...Actually I was astonished to find more than six of them laying around. I remember I had spent 3 times the amount i paid for this one to import one from Newzealand earlier on LOL !

Finally I got my hands on this CUSTOM built C52 gearbox with a TRD LSD and final drive 4.5 This gear box was custom made to to used on a rally stage by my friend who is also a rally driver. I was so happy when he let me use it on my AE100. I'm really looking forward to plugging it in and testing it out in a few days time.
The gearbox came off this rally car....

Nice upgrade on the gearbox! Also, that gauge cluster with 140MPH dial is a first. I wouldn't mind having that jewel. Was it out of a LHD or RHD?

I realized right after I posted. I noticed the tach, speedo, fuel guage and temp guage was all on opposite sides. Nice find tho.

Finally the full Aluminum 2-core radiator arrived from the USA. I couldn't hide my excitement when I received it and here's some pictures I took.

You will like the benefits of the radiator. It just looks wayyyy better under the hood. These cars already have adequate cooling with the stock radiator, and now it will cool much much more.

Sure mate. Thanks for the heads up! Yes I have friends here who still run stock radiators without any problems at all. This double core radiator will make things even cooler which is what I really want especially when I will be doing some runs with friends.

New Year greeting my friends. I am excited that in two weeks the upgrades on my corolla will be complete and I am looking forward to take it out for a proper drive. At the moment we were cleaning up the wiring and hunting for power draining parasites and now all's looking great.
