engine cutting off when driving HELP

my motor keeps cutting out when driving just completly dies it does this very often the check engine light only come on sometimes when it happens and just before it does this the rev needle flicks up about 500 rpm, also does it idleing and when it dies the rev needle flickers, and takes so long to start, crash starts no problem tho, its a 20v silver top marino only mods are the filter

Have you checked the alternator? might not be getting enough power, maybe the belt is slipping

Sounds electrical if the rpm needle flickers

turns out it was leaking caps in my ecu replaced the 2 leaking ones and i have no problems now
