the shift boot is from a levin, but it was damaged at the bottom, so cut and modified to fit lol | |

I tried fitting one from a Levin on a Corolla the other week at the junkyard but the plastic surround at the bottom was a different shape. So an alternative I worked out was to unstick the leather from underneath the surround and they re-glue it back on to the bottom of the Corolla's surround. Just trying to keep my eyes out for one in good condition as a lot of them have flaked or have cigarette burns in them, lol. I've got a leather one in there right now, but it's not OEM, and you know what I'm like when it comes to OEM parts  | |

I'll have a think about the cost and let you know  . Pretty easy to fit. They bolt straight on and you'll just have to connect the wires to a power source and ground. There's about 7-wires from memory, but last time I checked they used the standard Toyota colour coding so it shouldn't be too difficult, especially if you get an auto electrician to do it | |

| I suppose heated mirrors for ae101 were never sold. I tried to make mine heated but there is no space for heating element on the back of the glass left. its covered by plastic | |

Correct. They were never available for the 7th Gen unfortunately. Good to know that about the space behind the mirror. A bit of a shame for people who would like that feature. I've seen OEM heated seats on a European model before, so it doesn't really make sense that they didn't bring out heated mirrors, especially considering that they brought out headlight washers etc. | |

| bought and fitted a Toyosports Civic radiator from my cousin as he was breaking his car... still need to make some proper brackets for it though (zip ties ftw lol)     more room in the engine bay lol | |
