| Not much difference really, all parts are interchangeable. I think the main difference is location, where it's sold. And options. | |

| AE100 = 1500cc 5A-FE
AE101 = 1600cc 4A-FE
AE100 is Japanese only, however AE101 is multi-region (JDM, USDM etc).
The AE100's only ever came in the following models: LX Limited, XE, XE Limited and SE Limited. The SE Limited is the highest spec AE100 model from Japan.
The AE100's and AE101's share the same body parts. The chassis number only denotes the type of engine the vehicle has. As another example, the 1800cc models found in The US and Australia are called AE102's.

Correct. All AE's are fuel injected, all EE's are carb and all CE's are diesel.

No worries man. I actually just remembered that some EE's had the fuel injected 1300cc 4E-FE as well, but it depends on the market. So just to sum things up a bit better: AE100 = 1500cc 5A-FE fuel injected AE101 = 1600cc 4A-FE fuel injected, 4A-GE 20v ST fuel injected AE102 = 1800cc 7A-FE fuel injected CE100 = 2000cc 2C diesel EE100/EE101 = 1300cc 2E carburetor, 1300cc 4E-FE fuel injected

And 1600cc 4AGZE 16v supercharged, if you look at the Levin/Trueno

And 1600cc 4AGZE 16v supercharged, if you look at the Levin/Trueno I was only including the engines which came fitted to the AE101 Corollas but the GT-Z Levin/Trueno with the 4A-GZE could be included in that list too I guess . So it'd only be fair to include the AE101 BZ Touring wagon which came with the 4A-GE 20v Blacktop.

True, although I call anything E-chassis as a Corolla (technically the Levin and BZ-Tourings are a Corolla and the Trueno a Sprinter, the BZ-Touring is a spec level rather than a seperate model).
