David's 1:25 Model Build - 72 Pontiac GTO (1st one)

Here was my first (well since like 10 years) attempt at building a model. I didn't take as many pics during this one but here they are:

I didnt take any engine build pics apparently but here it is almost assembled:


Exhaust installed and painted in blue metal flake for a special effect. painted frame rails and suspension parts


Interior seats painting...






Ended up going with a 3 tone interior lol (Bright blue, sea blue, white,). Then I for some reason went with just a regular Orange as the body coat.



Then had to fit the rest of the stuff:


I tried and tried and tried but it was not fitting properly. Poor molds. The tires keep falling off too. but here it is finished to my standards:

That's pretty neat! Now if only they made one for the Corolla...

one for the 7th Gen Corolla. Not sure but I think Ishaq found one very similar like an 8th gen or something. but yea, would love a metal diecast corolla ae101 model.

Tamiya have a Levin but because it wasn;t a corolla I never got it

Thats still pretty cool though, better than what I have access to buying locally.

Maybe we can work something out and I can send you 1, their roughly $60NZD for the model and come with super easy to follow instrutions

I had the e11 wrc 1:24 scale but my nephew destoyed it when he was younger. I have a good collection of 1:18 diecast models now but no Toyotas yet.
