| This is my corolla e10 I saved from the scrap man, it is a 1993 gli model and is in good shape no major dints or rust just minor rust patch on top of windscreen. My aim with the car is to convert to either a 3sge or 3sgte engine at some time. At the minute i have no other plans for the car just going to tinker and modify as i go on hopefully will have regular updates. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] When it arrived. [img] [/img] The most dirty engine bay ive ever seen. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Then stripped it all out. [img] [/img] ideas welome.

| While it's that stripped, strengthen it by welding seams and/or fitting roll cage. You have a good base to start project, will be watching.

| I see you're onto Lee. Knite, for bumper and side skirts. Get the rear sub frame complete with disc brake set up, you'll need handbrake cables with it. If you get complete sub frame you can now get Superpro [from Australia] bushes for all the rear links, change them then fit the sub frame complete.

| Im picking up gxi sideskirts and hopefully the rear disc conversion on tuesday in total it will be a 11 hour drive there and back but will be worth it. Please can anyone list all the parts i will need to take off just so i don't miss anything. And will the parts bolt straight on. Thanks. | |

| The sideskirts bolt off the gxi, you would need to make holes to allow the sideskirts to fit on yours...
the rear disc conversion, you just need the full hub assembly, the brake lines and the handbrake cables (if i remember anything else il let you know)
you could also get the electric wing mirrors and the electric windows (with all wiring, motors and mirrors). its all plug and play. | |

| Thanks ishaq. As for the windows and mirrors im just going to leave them to save weight and keep it basic and it will give me more money for other mods . I'm also getting alloy door cards made to hide all them big holes, it should make it look alot neater and maybe custom strut brace if all goes to plan. Roll on monday then tuesday going to be a big week for the little corolla. | |

| Bolts to remove disc hub. Undo the front one on lower link and keep link. The long bolt through the 2 link bars can be a bas***d as it's usually siezed and needs heat, if so. don't cut the link bars but remove the sub frame [vertical bolts into body] easier to heat off vehicle and new bushes ared now available. . | Does anyone know of any decent suspension kits i.e coilovers. I have used Apex 40mm lowering springs on my e11 and they where useless, so looking for a a kit that actually works. Thanks. | |

| The BC coilover kit is £750 or less and available in UK. I put Teins on mine as I got a good deal on importing them from Japan, they are now £1250+.
There are used coilovers on TOC.Irl sometimes.
