Video 1: 0-100 (1st &2nd) pretty much full throttle, could of stretched 2nd a bit longer but was coming into a hard corner.
Didn't think the sound was going to pick up my stereo playin at volume 12 but it did, sorry for that but heres the vid.

Km/h and 4A-FE Automatic lol slow as F@%K...Unless I shift "manumatically" but was tricky to do while filming in the dark.

Whew!!! Is yours a 4A-FE too? Sounds like its a standard and your red lining er hard, love it lol. Great vid. Never gone that fast in my rolla lol.

I did however make another sweet vid of me driving through some leaves, uploading it now.

Dang! Manual transmission seems so much faster than an auto. And I'm pretty sure his is a 4AFE. They have a redline past 6k while the 7AFE has a redline slightly less.

And Dave I'm digging the tach. Do you have an intake and exhaust? Sounds great!

Had a wagon before, but the engine in that one didn't feel as healthy as this one.
Its doing 0-100kph in under 10secs, pretty good imo!

Thanks, its just a cheapo tach but it works. I have a Option racing SRI and a Ebay 4-2-1 Header (forget make (not expensive)) with a Magnaflow Catalytic converter and stock exhaust. Just wish I had a darn manual tranny lol

@ skorp why were u listening to classical lol is it u just like it or.......?

@corollasound the leaves vids are good but u need to be driving faster through them to get the whoosh effect u wanted i think but i understand corner ahead made it difficult so was still good why not try zooming in on the leaves more so u only catch a glympse of the corolla then the leaves might fly towards the lense sort of thing if that makes sense

I have no problems with classic, but i never listen to it

Hey, even "The Stig" listens to classical..., and even therapeutic voice recordings while he is test driving the cars for top gear.

and I myself listen to pretty much everything as well, I will make a vid of a more "normal" song someday to show off that my stereo isn't just all bass.

And put on some random channels! My stereo is bone stock, paper speakers etc.. Normally i listen to pretty much standard stuff. Mostly house, dubstep and drum and base.

I remember when my stereo was dry as a bone. The head unit was missing volume control knob and I only had the 2 little paper speakers in the front. The wiring for the rear speakers was still covered up in Factory tape lol

Im starting to want to down grade my stereo though, something more lighter in weight.

thats what i like to hear I allways listen to hardcore and drum and bass in the car

I just ordered a new stereo cause mine is a crappy one but it just annoys the hell outta me lol some sony thing I cant seem to operate to well well, im not used to simple use stereos lol , ill make a vid once the new stereos in

I made this video to show how my car starts in the cold, except it wasn't that cold out today (-5 Celsius with wind chill). My car usually starts up with a high idle (2000 - 2300 rpm), then after it warms up it will drop to about 650-900 rpm.



Notice how when I turned the wheel it got more sqeekier and the idle went up (obviously because of power steering)...but what puzzles me, is that when the squeeking stops, the idle slightly increases (almost like the squeakiness is causing resistance). Can anyone explain this or what is going on mechanically?

Also apologize for positioning the camera so poorly near the rear exhaust. Also didn't want to rev it hard because I just started it.
