| i cant see they 3sgte sitting on different mounts (if you are using the mr2 gearbox with the selector from a celica)
you could do it within a week
heres my info on the 3s swap, but driveshafts maybe / will be different

i do have the wiring diagrams for a 3sgte if you want

| the basics
3sge is n/a.. meaning you have to spend quite abit to get more power out of it, but once you do you can push them quite hard, not alot of strain on any internal parts, bullet proof
3sgte is turbo.. meaning that you power on tap, more power is easy to get, have to let it warm up and cool down properly, oil change alot more often
me personally, i like the rev3 3sge.. best one imo but everyone has their own personal tastes and choices

| oh yeah its cause i been told since the 3sgte has a stock turbo they need more maintenance and that they are somewhat less reliable then a n/a engine, by rev3 you mean 3 generation? i was planning to get the 3sge 5 gen... would the stock 6 speed transmission also fit straight in to my corolla? or do i have to use the s54 gearbox for it to fit, sorry if i dont make to much sense im just kinda learning right now | |

| yeah i meant the gen 3, the gen 5 may have an egr which would restrict power
afaik there wasnt a 6 speed box available... i used a s54 box and they can take quite abit of abuse lol

| ight cool i appreciate the help! i read the egr can restrict to about 10 hp not too much and if mantained well it shouldnt restrict too much....would a 5gen with egr still be faster the the first 4 gen? is the egr removeable? | |

| no all the gen 3-5 came with around 168bhp (egr) 175 (non egr)
there were slight differences in the internals, but nothing major

| i just wanted to ask a couple questions about the 3s series, which would be the best to completely rebuild 100%??? i want to over bore a 3s engine to 89 bore and leave stroke same add carrillo pistons after market biillet crank after market cams and the whole work low compression large turbo etc.... i know the 3sgte can push more stock uping psi but what the point of getting the 3sgte if imma rebuild the internals any way ? get me? hahaha so is a complete rebuild of a 3sge better than a 3sgte? i cant see any difference since i want to rebuild the whole engine anyway... any help will be appreciated

| sorry im confused, you want to rebuild a 3sge? buy a 3sgte instead? or rebuild a 3sge and turbo it? or rebuild a 3sgte? or build a 5sgte ? | |

| id say get a 3sgte and rebuild it, the block is stronger and designed to withhold more power | |
