HTC desire Z
im a huge htc fan i had
magician
htc universal
vario 1
vario 2
vario 3
htc pro
htc pro 2
now the desire.
They are immensly robust phones ive dropped mine so many times and bar a few marks and scrapes there nothing wrong with it.
iphones on other hand 84% end up with broken screens so i urge buyer beware and besides android is the way forward if u dont want apple to have you by the bollox and have to pay for everything.
Its a huge arguement that goes on all over the world and there is bound to be people here that argue the toss that itunes is awesome when infact it sucks, i like to just transfer my music to removable card cause its faster than bluetooth etc etc etc the list goes on.
just my opinion and i hope it doesnt start arguements thats not what i intended, i merely want you too know that there are other brands out there that are better and can do more
ie, samsung has android platform but it seems somewhat preservered and works the way samsung want it too which is fine but it would annoy me because im useing android not samsungs modified version sort of thing.
Sony/Erricson I have heard a lot of people taking them back because of software issues and they end up getting a replacement.
LG - ideal for people on a tight budget, if you are tight on money then check out a second hand htc cause it will work out just as cheap and will do a lot more
Nokia - make good handsets but have choosen to go with microsoft windows mobile .......why o why
they made a big mistake there as they should have choosen android. windows mobile is still behind the times and allthough it does have apps etc it doesnt have as many and windows mobile is aimed more at the business person so if you liek email etc then its ideal but android and others will do the same. picture quality for films and pics is by far the best i would say on these
blackberry - steer clear as a lot of people dont realise they have a £5 month fe included in thier tarrif just because its balckberry!! that alone is a piss take and enough for me not to buy one
Networks -
pay as you go
O2 good value - crap internet
Giff gaff/tescos - same as o2 as it runs off same network
Orange - I cant really say I just found it expensive
Tmobile - Good network for people with iphones/htc as they have great fast internet bout 5mb/s download but download is limited. also get free calls and texts - bad point is if your out of signal it jumps to orange and can get confussing :S good idea but it dont work well.
3 - is what i use, i get 300 free minutes 3000 texts and unlimited fast 3-5mb download so i can watch as many films etc as i like and i teher to my laptop at work
I hope this all helps and is purely what i have experienced over the years, (my first magician was on windowsmobile but ive tried nokia symbian software allsorts over the years so i would this knowledge is pretty accurate lol ) im a phone freak what can i say lmao
