are those for behind the dashto light the ashtray and center dials etc? the ones in the car are really tiny i wanna make sure i get right ones

The ones behind our gauge cluster are 194 bulbs.

yeh i think the ones you said are the 3 large ones that go in back of dash, i just replaced those with leds but they not brilliant

You are trying to get the gauge numbers to light up blue? Yeah you need 194 as Aaron said.

that should do it lol. But those will light up the gauges perfectly uniformly and very bright! Plus, you'll have many extras for when they burn out lol (because they will). But you need LEDs like this, because they are very short and they have a 180-degree wide beam, so it won't look spotty.

Here's mine.... note that this is with 5-LED bulbs, the ones above are 8-LED so should be brighter. And mine were daylight-visible.





As for the climate control, I haven't found a PNP LED solution for it. The way it works is there is a clear plastic diffuser that goes tightly around the bulb, so unless it's shaped like the bulb perfectly (or smaller) it won't fit. And the light has to come out 360-degree, not just out the front or a spot. You can try one of those 8-LED bulbs you'll have, and see what happens and go from there.

The ashtray (and cig lighter) are built-in bulbs, they are not changeable. I used custom made LEDs on mine (circled in red here)



However, the blue 194 LEDs above will fit the automatic shifter light!!

allthough I beg to differ on the cigerette lighter as mine is changable but it is tiny like really really small 2mm thick by about 10mm long really odd teeny bulb lol it did have a blue sleeve over it but it had all melted so i cant use it again. Ill try to get some pictures tommorow.

As for the dash thats a great help as the bulbs u showed me on ebay are great, the ones I got are single leds and arnt very bright. so i will take ur advise

Yeah, like I said, you'll need better LEDs to light it all up even and bright! Post pics... before and after!

chris it is changable cause i took the bulb out and threw it out the window lol ill have a hunt in the garden for it tommorow haha i just need to know what bulb it is i need to replace it

these are my dials but led i got were crap

also there are 2 different sizes that go in back of the dials what the number for the smaller bulbs?

Yeah, I might have been able to change mine, but it wasn't a regular bulb type that could be replaced with LED. Maybe it's different on yours.

Yes, you can see one of your has already failed!

The smaller bulbs are #74, at least on my cluster.

Easy! You only have to remove half of the interior lol. The panel under the steering wheel, glove box, panel around the shifter, panel between the seats. At least that's what I did, IIRC.

Yeah, I've had the interior gutted SO many times! I could change the bulb in 5 minutes easy haha.

and as for the changable bulb i dont think there is a replacement led but it is changeable sorry for the confusion. Do u know what the number is for the ones in the ashtray light? these dinky ones im taking about id be happy to just have em all working cause im fussy like that lol

Yo can use LEDs for the cig lighter and ashtray, I'll check if I can find which ones I bought for that...

You can use a "snake" LED for those locations, IE a regular LED with wires on it, no base. Just wire it in and glue it on.

not sure i wanna do that chris i dont have a glue gun to hold them in place lol

I just want to replace the ones that are there all ready haha

I believe it was a T5 wedge bulb (#74 afaik)
