| Thats my plan 2, 1600 turbo 4wd WRC style. From what i've learned you basicly mix st185 and ae101 parts together. I know there's a guy down south doing it to his ae111 | |

| I know I guy that has a 4wd 1600 fxgt but its all Subaru running gear I was wondering if I could use a carib 4wd system as it came out with a black top 4age and its the same floor pan as a corolla. it might be just a strait swap but i need to see them both at the same time to make sure | |

| I think i've heard of the FXGT. The 4wd carib was only a 7age, but would bolt up the all good bar the drive shaft to the rear I think that may be a bit long.
I wanna run boost so the carib gear would be strong enuf | |

| Id like to have a look at the under side to see were all the 4wd system fits. I a had a mates 2wd 4age blacktop carib on the weekend and the wheels all sit the same distance apart just the boots longer so I think that the 4wd one will be the same its just hard to find one that has had a crash in the front . Ive found a 1992 square Carib that’s had a crash but I don’t know if it has the same mounts or do I go for a 1996 on type one. | |

| I thought the wheel base would be close but i wasn't sure. Yer the 96+ AE111 or AE115 I've had a look under a 4wd carib (mate had 1) the front would be the same although you'd have to use the 4wd box mount, Carib front shafts. The rear sub frame looks like it'll bolt over, you'd have to use that because of the rear diff mounts. You'd have to use the carib rear hubs, if you want to run rear discs you have to mod you both carib and corolla ones together.
I'm not trying to sound like a know it all sorry.
