how to starty with the thread...used to have a 1.3 5door e10 corolla before that could wake the dead and shoot the odd flame, aswell as built a turbo corolla.
the 5door just got too rusty and after a clutch went yet again in that cursed, rusty-out car i decided to keep any good bits and scrap the rest.
got this levin in awful shape, stuck under a tree for a year.2 powerwashes and a day of t-cutting and polishing after, and the car looked halfway acceptable ha.got the car end of august '11, and the spec was as follows:

cheapest airfilter possible in the middle of the hot engine bay
A-pillar pillar-pod with guages that weren't wired up lol

well, got the car a little rough around the edges in august, pillar guages not working, the joke of an exhaust sytem that was slightly blowing besides looking cat, front topmounts knocking, and the problem of popping out of 5th from the synchro which got worse and worse, and then the diff starts knocking too for good measure haha.
slowly but surely added bits here and there, that i either bought, or got from cars i broke for parts to spec it up to the following below:
Outside: no major changes, took off a few of the stickers
changed wheels to work RS-Z's
re-painted the 2 horns and mounted them either end of the grille (behind grille obviously)
fitted the facelift ae101 levin rear lights and centre garnish
red wheelnuts
Interior: Recaro SR3 confetti
carbon-wrapped interior panels
clocks that count milage, usual toyota problem haha
black RSM
double-din Carrozzeria headunit (cd, mp3, radio, minidisc and my old 6cd changed too plugged in for good measure ha)
carrozzeria door speakers
carrozzeria rear speakers
Toyota air-purifier

Engine: Apex'i power intake

Future plans for the car before the meet are: a general tidy-up on the outside and fix the front bumper
some form of nice aftermarket skirts that'd suit the car
fit either the tom's c3r wheels i have or after i collect and spray them, the wedssports sa90's
re-fit the cat so i can have a fucking conversation in the car again
fit the blitz boost guage
fit and wire in the panasonic ETC (jap toll thingey that i think is really cool)
fit the footwell light
get magnecor uprated leads off rony on the site
full service (oil done, need to buy timing belt kit and waterpump, good plugs, and new auxilary belts for the bigger crank pulley)
fit bigger crank pulley then, hopefully get a lighter version made up
possibly tint headlights and spray grille black for the "black line" across the front
fit the ae101 4-spoke momo wheel, the optional extra on these cars
spray engine bay gloss black
replace ALL engine fluids (PS, brakes, gearbox oil)
new cv boots
paint calipers a nice subtle colour, will look nicer than yellow fronts and rusty rears lol
later plans are mainly: heatwrap manifold
find second confetti
maybe coilovers
carbon bits custom made, defo a fibreglass/carbon bonnet needed
engine work (could end up being nearly anything lol)
research toyota-lsd interchangability for my gearbox
enjoy it and drive it lol
