| after thinking about twin pot upgrades to my fxgt and trying different pads and discs is now time to take the plunge after finding a set off a ae111 Levin for $100 nzd I have started to rebuild the twin pot callipers and as I have a spare fxgt wreck I have decided to rebuild the rear while I am doing the front so it will feel like I have new callipers all-round and paint the all red so they look clean and new here are some photos of the twin pots just after i got them i will post some more photos as i go on after i have the rebuild kits to start work

| You need to modify the twin pot caliper slightly, and also you need 04 shape d4d corolla Discs to get them to work with Corolla Carriers and the Levin brakes a coupple of guys have done the conversion here and its a good upgrade | |

I know of a guy that can turn down the SS rotors to the right size. I've also heard that the calipers from the ST185 GT4 bolt straight on using the GT APEX/BZ rotors no messing around with. By the way your names not Tom is it? | |

| Brakes are just about ready but are on hold as I need to move work shops to a bigger one so I have started to look at the cooling system and as mot of you know in NZ its coming up to wof time and my head lights are faded in side and out so I found a full set of bz touring head lights for $300 nzd all look new apart from the lh one but it sill looks better than the old ones ill have to take some photos of the old and new head lights so you can see how bad they are and how good the car looks with them on thanks to some help from my friend as fx gt side lights are in the side not the head lights

| ok after a long week end of work on the car swapped all the coolant hoses and fitted the new sway bar and the new catch tank not the g reddy one as their is no room in the engine bay to fit it DAM IT . So I pulled the one of my mr2 that’s still new and fitted it. Let’s just start with wow the car gets a bit hotter and what a change it pulls a lot better and at lower rpm and the sway bar is so much better just need to work on the brakes now. I will post pics soon And I will have pics for the whole car as soon as it gets its tints on | |
