| ok so ive looked at 3 different corollas in 3 different years and for some reason my motor is different from theirs. they all either a newer looking version that looks like this one but the efi is in red or they have an old one were theres a single bar going across the motor saying 16 valve efi.. could anyone figure out what this is lol. i cant find an an engine code on the motor at all. maybe its just the american version and all the others are the Japanese? but that wouldnt explain why there motors are different. btw theres are a 1992 a 1994 and a 1995 and mines a 93.  | |

| Not a stupid question at all. AE101 came with a whole host of different engines 4afe, 5afe, 3efe 4age(ST and BT) and of course the limited edition 3sge This looks like a 4afe (what was in mine) you would have most likely have seen a 5afe, 4efe as well. | thank you that makes sense now 3 people at work all have corollas around my year and there all different motors. so i just got confused about it all | |
