| Hi guys. Recently the rust on my car has gotten to a bad point and i dont know what to do. My gf and I love our Corolla and dont want to sell it but if its going to cost 6 grand to fix it or something like that we just dont have that kind of money. Just dont know if it can be an easy fix or if its just to far gone. i just want to somehow fix it  its also only the rear below the back doors front seems solid. rest of the body is solid with little to no rust that i can see.. thanks guys! passenger side. |  now that is bad erm you would have to cut it out, grind away all rust around that area and weld a new plate to it i think.. but im not a professional, there maybe easier ways to do it though | |

| I'm sorry, but this is very common. Especially up north like you. My car died from rust, no matter what I did. There is no cheap fix. I simply covered it up with side skirts until they wouldn't bolt on anymore lol. Just drive it till the wheels fall off! | |

| Yeah, it's gonna cost money either way. Is it worth dumping money into a rust bucket or a newer car? It sucks, but it happens. Rust is cancer. | |

| sorry to see but i had a friend that bought a celica with 2 rotted sills on the back. He took it to a garage and they (as ishaq said) cut the out and replaced with plates of metal, painted and made it look like new all for £300 for both sides | |

| well if u were here it deffinately is a cheap fix but idd suggest to get it cut and welded for a long lasting solution and undercoating of ur car | |

| Can you not get a sill kit, i have seen these done on ford loads of times. They are just the same shape as the sills but have to replace the hole sill sections. That's the way id do it for the best result. | |
