Diesel engine or Petrol.Which is better.

Hi guys.just wanted to share a debate that is going on between me and my brother.since he owns a petrol engine car he says that petrol is better and since i own a diesel car i say diesel is better.and since we both love our cars and have worked very hard on them so you guys decide diesel or petrol.

BENEFITS OF DIESEL.
1.it has alot of acceleration.

2.it is cheap as compared to petrol and gives a better average

3.you dont have to change gear most of the time.

4.it doesnt heat up alot

5.its has a huge engine which is quite good if u decide to open the bonnet to show it off

6.last but not least it has a killer exhaust which sounds awsome even without the booster


BENEFITS OF PETROl
1.it has more top speed and revs alot as compared to diesel

2.it is expensive and doesnt give a better average if you have a heavy foot

3.you have to change gear alot

4.over here since its very hot in the summer it over heats some times

5.engine is good but puny compared to diesel

6.only good point i see that it is silent when driving and gives the comfort of a noise free drive


so guys heres my opinion but would love to know yours..........

Diesel for economy and petrol for power really lol

Diesel is more expensive where I live... D: haha it used to be cheaper. But I would probably prefer Petrol, I dislike the smell of Diesel.

additives do help, but you shouldnt over do it i think,
i used a redex for the corolla diesel that i have and it helped economy

i have both i have a diesel 4x4 for long trips and taking it off road and towing things and the corolla and mr2 for the week and weekend fun so i say both
