| Just doing some research and making sure I know what to get for struts.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/KYB-GR-2-STRUTS-SHOCKS-TOYOTA-234059-60-REAR-/190505570919?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1998%7CModel%3ACorolla&hash=item2c5b045267&vxp=mtr&_uhb=1#ht_2413wt_1139
I am confused by the picture with this ad for KYB GR2 struts (Rear Pair). In the picture it shows extra shock cartridges. Im pretty sure I dont need those, or maybe I do? I just need the strut with the shock already loaded; which is shown in the pic on the left, but it also shows the shock cartridges. Or maybe I do need them? It says it includes 2 rear struts, shocks, and cartridges.
What are the extra shocks and cartridges for?
I thought your full strut consists only of a strut, a shock in the strut, a spring, a mount and a bunch of rubber stuff lol

| That's just a universal picture, they put together a whole bunch of different shocks for different cars so they could use it for all parts. Yours will come with everything all complete and read to go. Thought you want all 4. | |

| Oh, I see. That picture is just to demonstrate the types of products they carry and so they can use the same pic for all cars. and Yes, I do want all 4. The same seller has the front pair too and will offer a 20% combined shipping discount if I get both sets. Cant wait | |

| Yes, I need them so bad. I was driving home last night after the LONGGESSTTT shift ever (it was only 8 hrs but seemed like 24) and im not sure if it was just me being tired or the wind, but the car seemed to have a mind of its own and not steering correctly lol. It doesnt help that it keeps getting warm, then freezing, then warm again either. | |

| Yeah, time for new shocks for sure! That mind of it's own feeling is really unnerving. | |

| I am thinking of creating a new look for my interior. I want to sell my stereo system (except for Deck) and install all Blaupunkt equipment. I also want to paint or somehow re-colour my interior with either a 3 tone or 2 tone colour scheme. I am thinking Black and Grey - Black, Grey, White or Black Grey and Blue. I also want to get some CF wrapping around the dash vents, cluster, and center controls and leave the dash grey. I started some photo manipulations to see how it would look: I like the look of having the seats black. I plan on doing some more editing later and will be sure to share my results. | |

| Starting to look better. Not sure if I should paint all the trimming black or leave it grey? | |

| Did you always have those door panels?! I want themmmm. I really like the concept. But painting seats might not be the best idea unless you know for sure the paint won't change the feel of the seats. When I painted my door panels, the paint made the material a little rough when it used to have a carpet like feel to it. | |

| Yep, those are the original door panels. If you seen the other side of them, you probably wouldn't want them. They are all hacked up to fit my speakers. and lol dont worry, I am not painting my seats. Either going to get new seats or get a seat cover. I am going to try using Duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint this time to see how it differs from acrylic enamel, which I used to paint all the white things in my interior. and heres another completed edit: | |

| I'm not a fan of the black and grey, I think all black or all grey imo | |

| That's cool, I've never seen someone "photoshop" their interior like that!!!
IMO.... coming from experience..... the fewer colors, the better. I started off with painting the ENTIRE interior black and blue, with chrome stickers to accent. I ended up repainting everything in black and blue (less blue) with no chrome. Ultimately, it ended up all black lol. And now, I've left my IS300 interior stock because it's all black and I love it.
I recommend all black, or all black with blue accents. It will be a lot more work to make the entire dash black, but definitely worth it if you can manage to do it correctly.
You could also have a shop convert your seats into black leather..... probably expensive though. Or just get good seat covers.
And the window cranks, no need to "accent" those and make them stand out lol. Keep those subtle and black, as they are a bit laughable IMO.

| Thanks, I used GIMP and was experimenting with the smart scissors.
I kind of like the black and grey colour concept. I dont know why, but that colour scheme somehow screams out 90's to me lol. I think I am going to go for it.
All black would be very nice too, but more work by taking out dash and painting it (plus so much taping) and I would have to buy a new floor carpet as I would not want a painted carpet lol.
and dont worry, the window cranks will be painted black or grey, or black and grey with everything else that is currently white.
Also bought some silver paint for my rim center caps. I went to Canadiantire and no one knew how to match up paint so I brought my rim right into the store and tried to match up some silver paint from about 10 different cans that all looked similar. Just need some warm weather
