| Hey guys, My names Shawn. I have recently bought myself a 95 corolla in the hopes of building it up into something different. Some previous knowledge, Up to this point I have always been into muscle cars not imports. I grew up with my dad driving his 73 mach1 Mustang and even owned a 83 mustang for a couple of years. At the moment im in the US Army and am stationed far from home. I found a link to a custom built 96 corolla that i absolutely fell in love with. Every since Ive hoped to build my own. A couple of days ago i got lucky and found myself a 95 corolla with only 49k original miles for 4k. Runs great and is in great condition. Hopefully soon it will be shipped to my duty station and will begin its transformation! Ive been looking through the forums and have seen some amazing corollas. The best ive ever seen honestly. Its my hopes you guys canhelp me out in accomplishing this project! Thank you for your time! Here are some of the pictures taken the day it was bought! And dont worry those are not my plates and are no longer around lol ''

| Thanks guys! The corolla i saw that got me into this is
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3163080/1996-toyota-corolla/
Idk but i just saw so much potential in corollas after seeing it!
Im hoping to go in a similar direction but a bit simpler. Im currently looking at using a dc2 lip for the front end and staying with the usdm grill (not 100% sure on which exact lip it is) Also going for a bmw style rear trunk lip. I know i def gotta get some side skirts and a rear lip but im not too sure where to find them or which would be the best style to go for :/ i was thinking about going with subaru skirts and rear valances but i dont know which gen fits? :/ any help?

| Welcome along, yes the AE101 has a huge potential! It's good that you've already seen a lot of our cars, to help give you inspiration for yours. I look forward to seeing the mods you have planned | |

| hmmm thank you much for that info, im not the greatest with customization work but hopefully ill be able to make it work xD im just tryin to figure out what would give the corolla the simplest clean look, especially when it comes to side skirts becuz i dont see many around whered u find those skirts :/ im searching the interwebs but to no avail. does Toyota Levin Trueno AE111 OEM Side Skirts fit? i hear they are for 2 doors not 4 any truth to that? | |

| Being in the US, your best bet would be scoring some sideskirts from an 8th gen Corolla S. They're rare to find, but I'll hit you up if I score some in my area.
Oh and welcome to AE101owners!

whered u find those skirts :/ im searching the interwebs but to no avail. does Toyota Levin Trueno AE111 OEM Side Skirts fit? i hear they are for 2 doors not 4 any truth to that? this shape subaru, they are already 4 piece, so its easier to take off about 1 inch or so in the centre you can use gen 8 corolla skirts the ae101 and ae111 levin are 2 door coupe, the length would be the same but would also require trimming down iv been told civic 4 door ek ones fit, but im not 100% you could also try lexus IS300 ones (againg not 100% sure)

| ^^ Oh yeah!! I thought you had sold them by now for the price you posted. If you're gonna buy the 8th gen sides, buy them from kickfli12. Real legit guy do business with. I've done several transactions with him and never had a problem.
