one for the corolla turbo boys

Right guys im trying to find a gearbox that will bolt straight onto the 4efte apart from the starlet one? the reason i ask is because of the mounting points being different on the starlet box for the mounting plate to mount it to the car.

Anyone using a different box or got any tips of how to get the starlet box to fit?

use a standard corolla box or if you want use a G6 6 speed box (way better imo)

so will any e10 corolla box fit without changing the bell housing? i have a 5 speed levin box i was gonna use but the holes were different for mounting the starter compared to the starlet one. so cant use it.

yeah use the standard e10 box.

ill have to get one of them so lol, was thinking of g6 box but they are so hard to find!! whats best corolla box to go for then to provide the best ratios?

i had a corolla box in mine when i did the conversion, closer ratio than a starlet box.. then i put a g6 box into mine and it was awesome! would highly recommend it

think ill do that to start then look for a g6 box, what box did you use to begin with a 1.3?

yeah used the standard 1.3 4efe corolla box that was in my car
