thinking of puttin a 1.3 turbo or a 1.6 gti engine into my car any1 know what would b best ?

Should'nt the Turbo 1.3 be better? I mean its a Turbo. Plus I think it will be better on gas too.

depends what you have in there currently.
the 1.3 turbo comes from a car which is lighter, so your corolla wont feel the same as a starlet power wise

That is an extremely good point you have there, but if its a stock E2 1.3 engine for a corolla, then there wont be much power difference i guess. because those are made for corollas wouldnt they just "feel" right in? and then with the turbo it would produce 20+ more horses at minimum

Turbo...easier to get more power out of it.

GTI engine doesn't gain you enough power for it to be a worthwhile conversion.

Did you consider a beams 'redtop' engine out of a celica?
