| What's up world! Figured I would share a couple of other projects I have, one is a long term project and the other is a unexpected project..... Lol First up, my 1989 Toyota Van that is named Vanwilder. Lol. It was built by my very good friend and homie Rich back home in Miami(I live in NC now), anywho. He did the 2rz swap, enjoyed it and as with alot of car guys, we get distracted and move onto other projects. I was super lucky enough to get Vanwilder, Rich even drove up from Miami to deliver it! Super dope dude! I'm not one to sugar coat though, so I will keep this real, the 2rz swap into the Toyota Vans is Genius! The 2rz is rated at about 140hp and 160lbft of torque compared to the 4ye the van used to have at 95hp and 135lbft of torque, might not sound like alot, but it is if you've driven these vans with a stock engine in it, it suuuuuuuuuuuucks! Lol. Moving along, you'll see pics of Vanwilder in her prime, then the last few photos are at the moment, I removed the drivetrain from it so I can rebuild the van from scratch, I'm not gonna miss one spot in this van. I'm gonna take my time and build her right and way better than before. The plans for it right now is to go turbo with the engine, as you see in the last couple of pics, myself with my good friend Steve, we pulled the engine and it is ready for disassembly, gonna take the block, crank, rods and head to the machine shop to get inspoected and worked on, I'll do a gasket match port job on the head, possibly a bump in cam profile and a nice size turbo. I do plan on going E85, lots of it available around here and just have some fun with it. Next up! Is my Ram 1500 I have dubbed Rocksteady..... He's a 2007 Super Basic Ram, down to the manual crank windows, no ABS, no TPMS sensors, no power windows or locks, nothing! Bare Bones and yes it does have a V6. At the time of buying this, I just wanted a daily driver that I can get in and go, that lasted for about a couple of years till the bug hit and I started to tinker with it. I did a 5" drop up front with spindles, springs and bilstein shocks up front, 6" drop with a flip kit and bilstein shocks as well. I also got some 17x9 steel D-Window wheels from Jegs and mounted up some 275/55/17 Toyos (best combo ever, 20" wheels are yucky). Drove it as is for a while, never did anything to the engine since at the time, my county did emissions testing, so that's one of the main reasons I never touched the engine, just regular maintenance. Now, my engine recently blew after almost 230k miles and also the reason I had to put together my Geo Prizm together so quickly, cause I needed a car and wasn't about to put a burden on my woman and use her car, unacceptable. So now that my county has no emissions testing, the options are endless...... I can go with my original plan of rebuilding the stock V6, adding a couple of turbos to it, E85, Hp Tuners and have some fun. OR, I can do some sort of bastard swap, lately I've been thinking about a 2JZ swap The last pic is sadly the last time I even touched it, well, besides using the tailgate as my own personal work bench while working on the Geo Prizm. | Nice projects! That's pretty interesting that your country got RID of emissions tests. Seems kinda backwards to all this climate change craze. lol. Also, nice waterfront property there. Good luck on the builds! | |

| Thanks, it's peaceful out here in the country and the water is a definite bonus. But yeah, there is still emissions testing in the city counties, but not needed out here in the sticks I guess. Atleast it gives me full range on what I can do with my Ram and my Van especially. lol | |
