| Subject: What is your Coilover Setup ? Sun Dec 01, 2019 11:18 am | |
| Hi, Im new here. Thinking of doing some mods to my AE100 Corolla. Starting with suspension. as of right now my car feels like a boat. I want better handling. Coil overs seems to be the way to go. However, I need Information on what Brands you guys think i should consider. Please if you're listing your coilovers, put the full name of them and not just the brand, include prices if you want along with how you think it performs. Im just curious as to which ones will Fit my Model Corolla. YOu guys would know what works and what doesnt so please Help. | |

| Mine aren't installed yet, but i got myself a set of BC Racing V1 coilovers that are going under my Hatchback (V1 series was the cheapest from BC Racing). Price for me was around 850€ mark, they usually go a bit over 900€. If you want best of the best, then KW is the way to go, at least that's what i'm hearing. | |

| I checked the site where i bought them from and they don't specify any specific models actually. So i can only assume that they should fit no problem. Double checked on BC Racing's site too... same story there. | |

| I have BC coilovers on my Lexus, and they are nice. The suspension for the sedan and hatchback are the same, and I believe it is also the same on the following generation Corolla as well. When I had my Corolla, I used better struts and lowering springs, and it worked great and was cheaper, but coilovers are definitely the way to go IMO. | |

| Just bought a second-hand set of Yellowspeeds (no, not Godspeed or maXpeedingrods or any other eBay crap), was never really certain that I wanted to go to coilovers but they came up at an absolute bargain so couldn't resist.
Interestingly they appear to be 7/4kg F/R which is a little different from the usual 6/4kg and 8/6kg sets out there | |
