| I recently installed an aftermarket deck, older one, Kenwood KRC-S505 which replaced OEM Stereo. I used the wiring adapter for my 96 Corolla. My problem is when I turn off the key the digital dash clock stays on. It never used to and I am afraid it will eventually run down my battery. Also the radio still has power when I turn off the key. Appreciate any help anyone can give. | |

| Sounds like you simply got some wires backwards, like mixed up the ACC-on and battery | |

| Thanks for the advice. Took care of the power problem. But recently I noticed my parking and dash lights come on when I turn the key to the on position. I am assuming it has something to do with the stereo, what else could it be? Appreciate any advice. | |

| yeah the wires for the park/dash lights also goes to the radio. Sounds like another wiring issue there | |

| Yup, figured it out. Had the orange, (illumination) connected to accessory power. Good to go now! Thanks for the advice! | |
