Need Advice Regarding Engines.

Can some of you More experianced Rolla owners guide me through this difficult decision?
I might do an Engine swap, But i have little knowledge regarding the topic.
Which engine should I choose? I have Fuel efficiency in mind. Then performance.
there are the 4A-FE, 4A-GE, 4A-GZE (Supercharged), 5A, 7A etc.
16 valve or 20 valve?
1600 CC or 1800 CC? the research I've done suggests 1600 CC engines produce more HP then 1800 CC engines. I might be wrong Idk.
Blacktop, Silvertop, Red top etc. I dunno maybe ill buy a Blacktop and then Cry at fuel Consumption. I currently get 6-7 Km/l which is draining my pockets well.
Someone help me!

In my opinion, I'd only do an engine swap for a 4AGE (ST/BT) or higher engine (performance)... for fuel economy, might as swell stick with 4AFE.

So is there a Big difference Between 4AFE and 4AGE? In terms of Performance and Fuel Efficiency?

4AFE was designed for fuel efficiency, 4AGE was built for enhanced performance. you just have to choose which one you prefer, fuel economy or performance.
