6 speed conversion

Im hoping to go 6 speed very soon.
Just wanted to know what do you actually need and how hard is it to do?

Heres the list i got,
gearbox,
gear linkage
shifter (reverse is next to first)

also gearbox oil, what would you guys recommend?

I doing some research on the C160 6-speed conversion for my AE102 and this link that "Kiwi-Corolla" posted no longer works. Did anyone save a pdf or print one? Or is there an updated link for the 6-speed conversion? Thanks again.

Without going in to the history too much, Twincam.org got bought out by an American who destroyed the place, the old members banded together and formed twincam.org.au and saved most of the good technical stuff, it's a ghost town now too unfortunately but the info is still there.

Also bear in mind that guide is based around doing the conversion in to an older AE82/93, so some of the information isn't relevant (like the mechanical speedo drive, remote thermostat housing etc etc)

So eventually i was able to log back in after some flaffing about.
I have converted my fxgt to 6 speed conversion with c 160 lsd.
I used the 6 speed shafts but the 5 speed shafts are the same, mine dosent have abs but my new shafts have.
You have to use the cables and selector mechanism,as the top of the cables are different at the selector,the box and the 5 speed mount that bolts onto the chassis and the 6 speed mount the bolts onto the box, some adjusting of both mounts are required and welt both together, but it all bolts up and works perfect.I will upload some pics later on.
