FS: Very Rare AE101 Corolla JDM Backboard Air Purifier

Here's something that I very rarely come across - An original JDM rear-mounted Air Purifier. This was a very rare and very expensive optional extra for Japanese Corolla sedans, and is one of the coolest accessories Toyota produced for the AE101 series. I have one of these units in my own Corolla and it's always a big talking point among people as it's so different to see, especially in a Corolla.

This will fit all 1993-1997 7th Gen Corolla sedans (American, European and Japanese) and is very easy to install as there are only two wires - Positive and negative. It gets mounted to your rear deck (the mounting holes for it are already there) and the two air holes for the grille are very easy to cut out of your factory shelf/deck. The purifier is activated by a switch which is located in the center console, and has the ability to be set to 'Auto' (determines the purity of the air and adjusts the fan speed accordingly), 'LO', 'HI' or 'OFF'. The switch has a back-light too, so it illuminates when your headlights or park lights are turned on.

It comes complete with the Air Purifier unit, grille, filter, switch and all necessary un-cut wiring. In absolutely excellent condition, with no scuffs, cracks, chips etc. The filter is replaceable and is still able to be purchased brand new.
