AE111 front conversion?

Has anyone thought about doing a 2001 Corolla front end conversion on their AE101 chassis?

Is it possible? Would it bolt up without too much hassle and too many modifications? I don't have access to a welder.

This idea has been bouncing around inside my head. I might just head over to the junk yard and do a bit of research one of these days.

Just looking for input and feedback beforehand. Thanks.

dont know about the ae111 corolla but ive seen the ae111 levin front end on a ae101 corolla before

This is a very old trick, it's been done hundreds of times lol. It's not all such an easy bolt-up thing, but it is possible. Just gather all the parts and get ready to custom mount things.

Even I did it lol. But I kept the AE1010 head lights, similar to that ^^^

It can be done indeed, as said above source as many parts as you can, so you can saw them apart and so on Wink

It would be perfect if you could find an 8th gen in a junkyard with a relatively intact front end, so you can run back and forth as needed.

I often thought about this too, it's not really been done here.
