| Hey Guys! I guess this would be my introduction and start of my build thread My name is Daniel, Mostly known to my friends as Yogi. As of 8/1/13 I am the proud owner of a 1995 Toyota Corolla Wagon! I really needed a beater car because my current daily was racking up miles, It was a pain in the ass taking it around and keeping it safe without dumb drivers/people. My first plan was to actually pick up a 1st gen Lexus GS300, but I really don't have the space for another big body sedan. I also wasn't looking forward to another gas guzzler. I've been a big fan of Sedan's and Wagon's ever since the beginning. So since i already have my sedan, the hunt was on for a wagon! This Thursday I found my 95 Wagon DX Clean title (auto)on craigslist which I got for a steal! Didnt even hit 4 digits $$ There was some neglect done to the car as far as maintaing the motor, but I just did a quick tune/lube up and changed out the basics and she's purring well. I drove it all day today to find anything else wrong with it but so far so so good. The miles were also fairly low which i was very happy about (134k). I was looking around for a manual one but everyone was asking ridiculous amount for very trashy wagons. Having a manual wagon wasn't priority just because #1 I can have my girlfriend drive it when she needs to follow me to a show & #2 I'm a very lazy driver Cruising it is I kept telling myself I wouldn't touch it or mod it, but the build has already started Im only 2 days in :disappoin god help me... haha. Here she is, Not much to look at, but I've been hunting online & around town the last 48 hours. The interior is amazingly clean which was a big plus! Im very happy with the purchase. I found a couple problems from the start when I talked to the previous owner, test drove & after purchased But nothing that couldn't be handled. #1 Passenger door window rolls down but not up. Should be a simple fix. #2 Lubricants were overfilled and from the looks of it, never changed. #3 Transmission has a nudge from 2-3 but nothing horrible, she'll be fine. It got way way better after the tranny fluid change... Anyways! Cant wait to get started.Time to harass my delivery guy & bug some of my friends for some parts *Mwuahaha* Need to find wheels and suspension asap :)I'm looking forward to this and hope to meet some of you real soon at local events! ----------------------------- updates: My friends over @ D2RACING took great care of me and got me a set for the wagon :)Thanks Erwin! Also had some techinical issue's while disassembling the suspension in my garage, My good friends at FASTAUTOWORKS got the job done and now she's lower to the floor. they also fixed my window problem, I thought it was just the track but it ended up being the motor. Anyway's Got her back today I have boxes of parts in my garage ready to be installed but tommorow the car goes straight to paint! Cant wait to see the finished product. Ill update you guys as soon as the paint is done and goodies are installed! ------------------------- my girlfriends brother driving her to paint. Very close to the color of your IS I see in your sig. My girlfriend actually choose the color out of her nail polish bin, No homo HAHA. I actually prefer the emblems, I may leave the corolla & DX emblem off. - Sgt_Lyna wrote:

Funny, because I'm on the hunt for items everyday. I always have the urge to jump on certain items but then I have obligations to my main car. Though its very, very, very, very tempting - MirrorEyes wrote:

Thanks! I hope so too, Car comes home Friday. Cant wait! ______________________ Speaking of splurging, found me a set of wheels Im in full support of WEDS wheels, but was offered this set for a steal! Work EWings RSR 15x6.5 +36 all around. Im still very fond of the flush look (also being that I work for Hellaflush) but with both cars I've been leaning towards a more conservative fitment. It looks good until you buckle your fenders and spend more money on repairs Yesterday, I sent them off to my really good friend Alex over at Wheelflip for a full chemical strip and a full polish! The car should be fully assembled by next Wednesday | |

| Sorry i havent been on here keeping you guys updated! I had a problem with the original paint shop. 40 days and all he did was slap on some bondo and let it sit outside for days. Horrible... Anyways, My good friend @ Adam Feliciano took over the work and quickly got to work. Tommorow she finally comes home. Heres a sneak peak until she returns home manana | |
