My AE101 - 3SGTE build

Yet another 3sgte build thread.
I thought that I should add mine to the ever growing number of threads about 3sgte builds.
 
I bought my AE101 off my sister and the very first thing I did was get a Kenwood sound system installed. 4 x 6' speakers, 2 x tweeters, 1 x 12' sub and a 1000W amp. Currently has a Alpine head unit but I am eventually going to replace this with a 6' Kenwood touch screen.
 
Next was the exhaust system, a 2.5' sports exhaust that, although the lazy beggars didn't do the first 900mm of exhaust after the header, made a rather large difference to the performance. By this time I was hooked on moding my car and was determined to make this legendary little car into one entirely unique Rolla.
 
Plans(not in much detail);
3SGTE 4th gen engine with haltec ecu
interchangeable exhaust systems, one road legal, one for racing
custom interior, including moulded speaker mounts filling the boot, racing bucket seats etc
scissor doors like the ones that lambos have
17' wheels with 205/40 semi slicks
 
I have already made a start to pulling the engine out so I'm afraid that I cannot show you any pics of before I started but here are some of what it is up to now.

Good luck with the build, Aren't suicide doors the ones that open the opposite way to normal ones and i thought the lambo style doors are just called lambo doors, I might be wrong.

you are right on that.... for some reason that's wot I've always known them as

Also I am going to get brembo's (if I can convince someone to make me a set)
I am hoping that VSport in Sydney will be able to help me out here.

very nice choice for engine upgrade

for brakes you can use the celica st202 hubs (bolt on to ae101 hub) and use st205 4 pot calipers
