| And that relief is gonna feel great! Yeah it didn't look like too much damage on the front end, at least your bumper and head lights look OK! | |

| Ok, if I can decipher that correctly.... are you asking how he got it so that the high and low beams are on together? I know on my rolla, the car came like that. | |

| Thanks, luckily my mate said maybe there's air in the cylinders, since you revised 'em... then we tried venting those and alot of air came out! So Ishaq, keep in mind when you do the conversion, there can be air in the cylinders as well | |

| It was fun tho in the rain Chris... we laughed quite a bit and screamed (before we were ALL soaked) out of annoyance and because it was ice cold But indeed, no need for the mechanic, since we found the problem luckily! Can't wait for tomorrow or tonight for that sake, since tonight I'm working in the bar... I'll make it worth their while tonight | |

| As it appears not all the parts are in, missing a radiator cap... My old cap is a tad bit too small, will be trying the cap of my GF today, my old radiator was a Nissens one, not Toyota, I think that is/was the problem. Still need to tighten one bolt, have forgotten one, attach the bumper and tuck it all in ofc. Hopefully I will be able to test the car today... | |

| Oh yeah! She rides and brakes!! I borrowed a radiator cap from my father in law for a test ride... And it all works again. One annoying thing remains, there's a scraping sound when turning left... Also there's a small tick/rattle in the front left wheel, like something is between the spokes, can find anything though... | |

| Hahahaha, good to hear she's roadworthy again. You still got that scraping noise when turning left and the little tick/rattle? | |

| The tick/rattle is sorted out I think, it should be the dust cap of the brake... I peeled it out a bit, 'cause it was rusted and all... will check this somewhere next week or so. As for the scraping sound when turning left, this might be the mudguard... will also check this soon | |

| Not sure Ishaq, still need to investigate of course, but as it appears it shouldn't be that much... and well... if it's otherwise... then I'll just need to repair it right? | |

| And away with the dust! First of all the brakes are quite the story, still heared some noise from the front (right), so had detached the entire brake installation of the front... while at it replaced the disks with brand new ones (thought they were making the noise), but to no avail. Then I figure it might be the driveshaft, so bought another one, still needs a bit revising, the dustcap is a bit dry. So will be revising the thing soon. But since my holiday is coming up, I don't think I'll be doing that in the next two to three weeks. In the meantime I finally bought myself some clear signal lights! They just came in, and as I don't like the green around others I've seen I think I'll use kit to close it off. | |
