Teenage Noob Here

What's up AE101 Owner's Club!? My name's Ralphy and I'm a 17 year old Hispanic male that just graduated highschool.

My Story:

Yeah I'm young but I know a decent amount amount about cars as I've been tinkering with them since I was young. It runs in the family :p I've already owned a 1992 Acura Integra GSR and a 1990 BMW 325i 4 door, which were both projects that I gave up on. My dad decided to go back to his roots (he was building a 1981 BMW 323I with a 2003 BMW M3 Engine [S54]), which is old school Corolla's. When he was my age he had plenty of AE86's, xE7x's and even xE3x's. He now owns a Kouki AE86 Hatch that is getting a 1uz swap, which influenced me on what I currently own which is a Kouki AE86 Coupe . Seeing how both my dad and I want to build our cars to pristine clean Weekend/Track cars I thought that somewhere along the line I'd need a Daily Driver especially because I live in the North East, US. So I thought hmm.. let's stay in Toyota (as my dad likes to keep all his cars that he owns at one time under one brand), and the thought came to mind of an 92-95 Corolla. FWD, easy to find, cheap parts, and super reliable. Which lead me here!

I've been thinking about (and actually looking around) for a White Sedan, and maybe doing one of the following..

1. SilverTop 20v 4age - To Make all the Local Civic guys look bad
2. Blue/Redtop 16v - possibly turbo-charging it? for the same reason above
3. 7AFE - Maybe do the same as #2 but I'm not too familiar on 7afe's o_O.

Lowered, with maybe some Diamond Racings, Enkei RPF1, SSR Formula Mesh, or something else, all depending on how much I'd actually like to put into it seeing how I have the AE86.

Well yeah, I'll be doing my reading and asking questions here and there on this site and hopefully it will be alot of help!

Welcome along Ralphy, we've got a few members with white sedans!

Heres how my car sits right now.. It's on BC Racing Coilovers (but I havent rolled the fenders to lower it yet) & it has plenty of mods, with a rebuilt Bluetop 4age only 6k miles on it. It's currently getting slight "clean-up" mods done, so it's not all that flashy.

I really like it, is the red/primer one your dads?

You are correctooo, He's waiting on ordering all his exterior parts (i think only the TRD-style wing & possibly a diffuser is left) before sending her out to paint.

&thanks, I just need a tad more to do before I'm satisfied with it (for now). I have an E30 IS trunk wing that fits right on to AE86 trunks, an AE86 coupe center garnish, All 4 mudflaps & a MX73 Cressida Lip to go on and I'll be happy.. & of course lowering it and maybe adding spacers to the Enkei 92s for now.

Thanks, I'll look around for them. & is that your IS300? if so thats one hawwwwt car . My dad also has a 01 Black IS that he's had for a lil while.. SRT Intake, TRD-Style Lip, TRD wing, BC Coils, Tanabe Catback, Tanabe Sway Bars, other stuff too that I dont remember.. He had 17x8.5 Tom's Racing C7R's on it, but he got tired of them and sold em ;p
