| What size was stock on your Corolla?
Stock on mine is 165/70-14
Current size is 175/65-14
I want to know if 215/40-16s will fit on a car with (for now) stock suspension and no body/suspension mods or if I will have to go for 195/45-16.

| I have fitted 205/40/17 yokohama spec 2 tyres but is sitting on 195/65/14 randoms at the minute. | |

| Stock: 175/65/R14
16s: 205/45/16
17s: 205/40/17
Never had a problem with my speedo being out, if anything with the 17s it seems slightly more accurate... | |

| My car had snow tires on it when I bought it but I found 2 205/45-16 summer tres in the shed along with the wheels from my old VW Passat wagon. | |

| The wheels that are going on my car are 7j 16, ET38 and I would like 215s but I dont know if the wheelarches are wide enough.
I'll stop by a few tyre shops and ask how much 4 215/40-16 tyres would cost when I get the time. | |
