I have everything now but wanted to ask one more thing

Did you use the axle bracket that bolts behind the engine to support the drive shaft?

If you did which one did you use ?

I also noticed you kept the welded together shift cable near the gear shifter were the celica cables to long ??

I may attempt to use complete celica shifter unit and hope it's the same bolt pattern to bolt to the floor

yes, used the standard celica one.
and yes the celica cables were too long, and the corolla was a little short
the cable will fit the corolla shifter unit

I am staring hard at your gearbox mount and I am trying to see what you modified on it to fit it, or is it not able to be seen from the top?

Last year in January in went off road due to someone going into the side and causing quite some damage (bent wishbone, bent trackrod arm, bent the alloy)

so i decided to take it off the road fix it and all the rust issues and bring it back on the road...
I was also in the process of the building a rocket bunny kit for it.

skip to present day and due to heavy heavy rainfall, the unit where my car was flooded...
the water went up around 8ft

so far progress on the car was slow. just changed the alloys colour to candy red.

luckily my car was on the ramp, but that only goes 6-7ft in the air and water still got in
not enough to ruin the electrics but enough to ruin the carpets and seats

rear bumper got swept away, facelift garnish got swept away, lights and other bits got flooded with murky water so i need to clean them up

dropped the oil in the engine and in the gearbox and they were clean, i was so relieved at the sight of that

Wow, sorry to hear about the flooding. Good thing it was on the lift for sure though and you got it running. I like the color of the wheels and was looking at getting those, but honestly, I felt they were too wide so decided not to.

It's so cool watching the progress. Similar to the restoration of an old muscle car.  Thinking about aggressive camber or over fenders for those wheels?

I knew that style wheel would look sick on these cars, but why they only make them in 8.25 is beyond me. I'm not a big fan of cambering them. You will ruin your tires in no time. My friend has these same wheels on his Miata. He installed some aftermarket fender flares like these and left the camber alone. That's what I suggest, then paint them.

Which rims are you referring to?
The current ones are XXR 527 16x8.25 ET0, not 100% on the tyre size

Really nice to see this is still going strong! Especially after it got completely flooded.... usually that is a complete loss, but you didn't let that stop you!
