| Tom and I looking at using the carib Z-Touring running, its a 95% straight bot up. You could also look at the Celica GT4 gear. The Hilux diff would be to heavy and to much modding is needed | |

| No mate my user name is Bridgy as it is short for my last name, don't know what you mean by rotary. My intention is to buy an old celica gt4 and use the engine, 4wd system, floor pan and any other parts from it i need. I will be using the 3sgte engine, 2 litre turbo. Hoping it to be around 400 bhp. Keep us updated. | |

| .......wow dude that sounds like a sick set up the reson i thought of a rotory was because here in nz we put rotorys in pretty much anything haha rotoey is a mazda engine and a comman one is a 13bt bridgy short for bridgeported haha yes i will definitly keep you guys updated haha and a celica that would include a bit of chop cutting or a 95% bolt on kind of job?

| Yeah basically a celica bottoma with a corolla welded to the top if you get me. Bit of a frankenstein job lol. | |

| Bridgy are you going copy the red one in Ireland? Personally I want to keep the 20v and turbo it with 4wd just to keep it in line with WRC. The carib Z-touring uses the 7afe so the 4wd box bolts straight on the fronts shafts will fit straight in, the rear sub frame will bolt up though you will need to swap the fuel tanks over so the main shaft will fit, may need the main shaft custom built due to the length and the rear hubs will bolt straight on but they are a drum brake so thats the part im working on.

| Yep that's sort of what if aiming for. I wouldn't use the word copy though, more like it's inspired the way i do my build | |
