im just worried now b/c a couple people were saying that im gonna need fender flares b/c theyre so big but i dont think so. im just gonna roll and pull the heck outta my fenders

Well after a long awaited wait i finally got my car back with the interior all blacked out like i wanted and i must say he did not dissapoint. The rear seats were rewrapped in black vinyl, the headliner was done in black suede, new black carpet, the visors and door inserts were done in black vinyl. The only remaining things are the shifter which will be replaced and gotta find me black seat belts but my girl has forbidden me to do anything until after we get married so thats it for now, but onto the pics. and sorry for the dirtyness of the car as it was outside most of the time and this jersey weather sucks lol. As with everything with this car i ran in to yet another problem. On the way home i was on route 80 and my battery took a dump and died lol. i figure its my alternator since it must not have been charging it but ill check more into it tomorrow. So halfway home pulled over on the highway i had to call a tow truck and have it towed to my apartment. luckily i pay for emergency towing through my insurance and it was covered.

its still a work in progress a few little things here and there. gonna be doing regular maintenance from here on out to get things up and running in tip top condition. like always slowly but surely

Looks good, first time I've seen one completely blacked out.

thx trife. i really liked it as i think its simple and classy. my friend was telling me to add some white accents to match the wheels and break it up a bit but i dont like that idea. the only plans i have are to get the steering wheel center powdercoated gold and maybe a gold shift knob. ive been back and forth about doing a manual swap (have no clue what to do). I have everything minus the trans, but have been doing some research and read that the blacktop auto ecu will hit the 9000rpm redline and pulls just as hard as a manual. if this is the case im tempted to just leave it auto, as most will hate, but figure i can save myself the stress. any ideas/opinions?

personally, I would leave it blacked out. Also as far as the transmission is concerned, i love manual over auto, so I know what I would do, but to each is own. If this is your daily, than, you would have to consider the swap takes some time to do. I did mine over a long period of time, but realistically, the swap can be done on a weekend or two if you stay on task.

No it's not my daily at all lol. I'm in no rush just been contemplating it.

nah, gold with gold wheels doesn't look good imo. What offset are they?

not sure of the offset but i wanted to get them redone in white like my other wheels, however after slapping me around with words, chris knocked some sense into me and ive decided to pass

any updates?

nothing yet. married life kinda put things on hold. Ive been tight financially for awhile so havent been able to get anything done. However things have improved a lot and gotten a great job opportunity to help supplement so i have hope things are looking up and im gonna get back to working on this soon. The hope is once everything gets buttoned up i can use it again as a sort of daily...........sort of!!! lol
