Newbie from CALIfornia!

Hey wassup im from california I been debating whether buying a new car or tuning my corolla I was leaning to buying a new car until I found this site!!! I've always wanted to tune my corolla but since not to many people invest on tuning them I was worried about getting stuck on an engine swap or not being able to get to much out of my 97 corolla but this website has convinced me and encouraged me to tune up my corolla I love the fact that it can be underestimated anyways mm hope u guys can help me out thanx for this website

Just know it'll take quite a bit of money and dedication to make it relatively quick. Even then, it'd probably be better to buy something already fast to begin with, for the sake of reliability.

there are a number of conversions that are achiveable.. i have a 3sge in mine and it produces 184bhp and 142 torque, and i have left loads of hondas eating my dust lol

Yeah at first I wasn't to sikd about my 97 corolla it was a faded light purple with beat up purple tint :/ haha so I painted it dark charcoal grey removed the old tint for new ones and now I'm in the process of detail cleaning REALLY detailed haha my corolla is nothin compared to ur guys yet haha no body kits no nothing I'm gonna save up to change its performance first that's my goal I'm not sure if I want to like the body stock I love that fact that the stock body makes it look like a rather easy car to smoke but as I put money into it I'm sure I will eventually X) thanx for ur welcoming

Yeah I've made some calculation I prolly gonna waste tons :/ but like its been said I'm gonna have one of the most unique corollas in the world well at. Least where I live, one day cruising I counted at least eight 90s civic I thought it was ridiculous haha people got carried away with fast the the furious haha. But tbh my dream car is a 2003 s2k (hope I don't get shot here) haha but that's for future plans right now I love my corolla and I'm willing to put all the money its needs to smoke anyone that underestimates it

oh yeah with the right amount of tuning it will be able to blow anything away..

there are 500bhp corollas on the side of the world..

just need to know all the info and be able to source the right parts and you are good to go.

^ I think in respects a lot of us have had very unique Corolla's for our parts of the world. Some more so than others, but I love em all Can't deny when someone puts work into their car, and it show's in a lot of our members.

I know when I first got my Corolla I would scour the internet for hours just looking at all the cool ones out there, the three main ones (not saying there weren't others of course) that stood out for me most were Scott, Chris and Ishaq's. I'd read through their TN pages and CarDomain's over and over just to try and determine what I'd wanted to do with mine.

lol guys Nice to know I have a legacy But I started nowhere, like the next person. I didn't have any inspiration though, I'd just drool over parts on Ebay and wait forever for my birthday or Christmas to roll around so I could get some gifts. I suppose that's why my car went every different direction and always looked tacky, because I didn't have any real inspiration until the very end.

Yeah, there's absolutely no reason to leave it stock! Have fun, make it yours! There are Corollas everywhere, so make it unique to your personality.
