My ee80 converted to GT ! Restoration, Mods, upgrades !

hello ! Assalamm-u-Alaikum ! Hope u people will be healthy and enjoying your life ! In this thread i will be sharing everything about and everything related to my ride so Lets begin !
Make : Toyota
Model : Corolla
Year : 1986
Chassis code : EE80
Engine :First 2E then 2nd gen 5AFE now 4AGE 20v silvertop with Blacktop wiring ecu

its DX model but u will now see GT emblem instead of DX
we have it for around 24 years now ! this is a family and daily runner car too !
now lets get to the main topic
i will be sharing showing what happened/happens with it ! it got a complete restoration
first of all ill let u guys know what upgrades have been made

1.Exterior
almost 60% GT some stuff like GT front bumper lip remaining for which the hunt is on as usual GT trunk spoiler installed, Gt front grille, GT emblems, side molding removed ! color is off-white original (chassis plate code)

2.Interior
Gt steering
Gt meter
new door panels
semi bucket seats
and more on the way

3.Engine

BONE-STOCK for now with lightweight BT flywheel and ITBs sometimes just for racing and fun

Exhaust syste,
moved from FGK jasma chambered exhaust > TRD Waydo chambered exhaust > GT 2 tip exhaust > RS*R invidia chambered exhaust > HKS jasma R98 exhaust
Downpipe was custom made now its 2.25inch with 2.25 inch subaru 2 resonators and original stainless steel pipe
and at last my favorite FGK jasma 4-2-1 headers which will arrive in a day or 2

4.Suspension

had TRD lowering all 4 but changed them to JIC and TEIN coilovers ! ride was too stiff so again changed to lowerings (stiff) ! GT front strut bar, Gt front sway bar, Gt rear sway bar installed ! going for brakes now front bigger vented slotted discs and/or rear discs

5. Wheels

moved from 14s steel rims > BBS lightweight 14s > SSW 16s > enkei rp01 16s > Buddyclub P1 racing 15s > 15s steel rims ! now waiting for something good to come around

front grooved drilled vented disc brakes
Gt bumper front lip
Gt steering column ( on the way )
Sunroof
clean ace
Power windows
etc etc

@mirror eyes thank you bro ! actually the body work was done up to the mark and the mechanics are very great they do what you ask them to do e.g i told them to peel off all of the previous paint and give it 3 coats of new piant and you can see thats what they did ! plus all of the car was rust-proof from below and floor !

yeh im with crhis where are the after pics im loving what i seen allready but i wanna see those mods u listed on the start of the thread

ok i dont want to its a bit early for after pics but here it goes

in the first 3 pics i just installed the JIC front camber adjustable pillow-ball joint and rear TEIN coilovers and came from workshop took some pics ! took it out as it was super stiff and wasn't comfortable for my family ! but i enjoyed its grip for 3 days

Woooo hooo no more suspense! It sure does look new again Though I'm not a fan of the thing on the trunk.....

And I love ITBs on the 20valve! Very nice engine right there.

@chris ! thanx ! thats a AE80 GT wing original ! i love it ! i extremlly hate the bench spoiler on trunks ! (the one which looks like park benches )

ae101 orignal Gt soiler is a bit sober looking although its not a lip spoiler

Ah, so it's an OEM spoiler It looked a bit wavy in the pics, maybe it's just me. I agree, it looks much better than anything else you could have put on there!
