my car is lowered 30mm all round and the tyres on the new wheels are 205 45 17's are these going to fit? | |

| The proper tires would be 205/40/17... but those might work, maybe. | |

| I run 205/40/17's and it fits well my car is lowered 2 inches. I don't think that you will have any issues running 205/45/17's. | |

| Problem is that 45s will be too tall. | |

| Yeah i know its taller. I'm sure 45s will still work you may have a little rub issue but roll the fenders and you should be good. I know people with wild setups and you have to play with it til it works pretty much lol. | |

| It depends on your wheel offset, I'm running 205/45/17 had to pull front fenders slightly. No issues in rear | |

| I ran 205/45/17 for years as I had a couple of sets to start with, replaced with various brands, never any issues with rubbing and car was fully laden on to the bump stops more than once so lowering would not have been an issue. They do noticeably affect he gearing though so might feel a bit sluggish. I'm now on 205/40/17s and much happier. Only issue for me was need for 5mm spacer on rear and longer wheel studs. More to do with wheel size generally than the tyre profile | |
