| hi people new to the forum but have owned a corolla before, im looking to buy a corolla hatchback seen one on a ebay uk its a gt fx 20valve just wondering what these are worth because it says its rare? might take a punt on it but what are the usual things to watch out for? | |

| the car is advertised on gumtree aswell he wants 1495 might give him a call but my budget is only 1000 if i do go to see this car is there a general guide for what to look for? common problems or places to look for rust? | |

| Rear arches are bad ruat.. Just listen for knocking and check oil.. | |

| Vvt pulley but those are yes enough to fix. With the 20v BT and ST they can sound like the tappets are going when the kms are high but its nothing to be concerned with, you can fix them but I wouldn't bother. They are much quicker than the ae92 more power, better handling slightly heaver. I've try and take a video of mine this weekend. | |
