1/4 JDM OEM Headlights???

I just noticed that the replacement headlight I got last summer from the wreckers was made in Japan. The housing in my headlight was broken but my headlight was in much better condition then the headlight from the wreckers, so I just swapped my headlight into the housing from the wreckers. The headlights were identical, which is probably why I didn't notice. I never looked at any of the stickers on the car because the hood was missing and there were large thistles growing on both sides of the car. Heres some pics...





I dont think there were any bulbs in the headlights from wreckers or else I probably would of noticed the different style plug (I must not be very observant lol)



I tried going back to the wreckers where I found this car and I asked the guy if they had any 7th gen Corolla's and he said no, I guess they must of crushed the 3 they had in the yard last year

any pics of the other side? and does it use a hb3 bulb?

Heres the front. Not much difference from eachother. The headlight housing that says it was made in Japan is on the right. I dont think there were any bulbs in the headlight from the wreckers, but I noticed on the front of my headlights, it says HB3 & HB4. I cant remember which bulbs my car originally came with but I think they were the stock 9005/9006 bulbs. I am using 9005/9006XS bulbs in my aftermarket headlights now.

Does the HB3/HB4 bulb use the same plug style as a 9005/9006 bulb?

Well, that's because HB3/HB4 = 9005/9006 !! They are the same thing, just called different things for some reason.

And the head lights are identical to each other. Just made in different factories. Some cars were made in Japan and shipped over, like mine, and others were made in the US and other places. Nothing to worry about.
