Subject: Installing Cluster Dimmer Thu Feb 16, 2012 3:32 pm
Hey guys, new to the forum here.
So my corolla came with a coin slot in the place where the dimmer for the instrument display should be got hold of a dimmer for the car, popped it into place, but cant seem to find the plug to hook it into. Anyone done this before or know what I need to do?
Also: Anyone know of any shops in NZ that sell LED kits to replace the bulbs?
Cheers

The plug that goes into the back of the dimmer was missing (not sure if it was ever there), so I cut the 12V line to the 3 dash lights and soldered the dimmer in between.
What needs to be done to replace the dash bulbs with LEDs?

You need to recalculate the different resistances of the dimmer switch and make sure you don't blow your LED's...
