Unknown connector

Hi guys

There's a small blue connector near the drivers foot well fusebox, it is not connected to anything. I have no idea what it's for, can you satisfy my curiosity? Is it a pre wire for any option?

It's on the bottom of the picture. I did not remove the kick panel entirely so it was difficult to snap a good pic

I don't believe that looks stock, but like something someone added at some point. Maybe for a lighting or a reverse camera?

Well, at some point this car had a hands-free installation for phone, so that makes sense.

Although that is an unusual place to have a connector for that (I think), and my question arose because it was not the first time I found unused connectors. E.g.: for the rear speakers and trunk light, that my car did not have stock (a blank piece of plastic covered the holes instead). Actually I found this connector while I was checking if I had factory wiring for the trunk light.
