| Did this panel come in LHD? I thought it would have been cool to have on my LHD. I never saw a pic of the back before, nice. | |

| Well keep in mind that you will have a lot of work to do if you are converting from the manual slider controls. The old system uses lots of metal pulls and cables to adjust the airflow and temperature. Only the fan speed is electric. So, if you install this all-electric control panel, you will need to convert over all the control systems as well controlling the airflow direction and the temperature and the inside/outside air circulation. | |

| Best is if someone finds a car in the junkyard with all the parts I mean I can remove my dashboard to work underneath, I think I can manage in a day or two | |

| yeah, that's what I mean, you'll need a lot more than just the panel, you'd need the entire car intact so that you can make sure to swap it all over. Even the air handler unit will need to be swapped. | |

| Yep, that's the plan... however something might come in between... 'cause the bumper lips are now being sold... all in a sudden... | |

| I can get you one of those no sweat, but I really do hope you're aware of the work involved with fitting one. Chris (gold84) was bang on the money when he mentioned about changing everything over since the JDM HVAC has no slider controls. Everything is electric and the heater unit uses actuators to open and close the vents which direct air-flow (as opposed to a simple cable design like you've got now). You'll also need the complete interior wiring loom for everything to work properly as there's a little sensor in the corner of the dashboard (will be a little blank currently in yours) which measures the temperature of the cabin. This is for the 'AUTO' function of the fan speed to work, as it heats or cools the temperature when it senses the cabin getting too hot or too cold. The shape is also a lot different between RHD and LHD, so you're in for a few major headaches. Anything is possible though, and I'm more than happy to send the parts over | |

| That's gold 94 to you lol. It is definitely a pain in the butt to do such a conversion. Now granted, what I did was way more involved, swapping over the interior and dash from another car, but part of the project was the HVAC controls. It is definitely a pain. At least I was able to use all the cable system, only slightly modified to work with the new controls. Your interior will probably look like this at some point in the conversion (to give you an idea of the work) And here's a closeup of the new HVAC controls when I was in the process of converting the cables and wiring harness. | |

| Hehe, I know I will be in a world of pain, but it's worth it! However, thanks for the offer, I will most definately be requiring the parts. However since I just bought something big, I need to save up a bit again Once I have some saved up project money I will get back to you about this For now... saving my ass off! I might be able to work some extra shifts in the pub to get some cash flowing. 'Cause I don't wanna borrow from my savings for the house... | |
